Does anyone know if WMR (Windows Mixed Reality) headsets are being refreshed soon? I heard that it was discontinued already but HP just announced pre-order for their new one, coming Fall 2020 sojust curious if there's more on the way or this is just lone release :

Looking to get into PC VR but on a budget (around end of this year, so willing to wait) and prices for the original first gen ones are pretty affordable, but now all either gone or out of stock.

Ohh, I see.. I heard the Quest is better suited for standalone VR rather than tethered. How is Oculus Link though? I heard mixed feedback on it. Another thing I have seen that the Oculus Rift S is better suited if I want PC VR experience rather than Quest + Link cable, so wondering if anyone here tried both before.

Hi all, I'm looking into getting the Quest 2, but looking online for major issues, I noticed a small recurring issue that some people are facing which was that their Quest 2 was booting into USB Update Mode, I was just curious if anyone heard about it, and if there's any way to fix it besides RMA, since I heard warranty/RMA is hard to claim locally here.
