Hello guys,

I hope this is the right section. Since the last 2 days, I've experienced this issue where artifacts appear in game and menu. Sometimes it goes away but most of the time it's there and this is very annoying because I have updated my drivers, reformated and did a clean install on everything. Steam, dota, etc. You can see the problem in the video I recorded here:

[SSD] Intel 330 Series 2.5" 120GB
[RAM] Gskill SNIPER 2x4GB DDR3 2133Mhz (Running at 1600MHz atm)
[HDD] 1TB W.D. BLUE 32M 7200 RPM SATA
[VGA] LEADTEK GTX670 2GB DDR5 256-bit
[DVD] Liteon 24x Sata DVDRW
[PSU] Seasonic X650 Full Modular PSU

GeForce Driver Version: 314.22

So what do you think is causing the problem? Could it be a hardware issue? Since I tried it on Diablo 3 and other games, same thing happened.

I'm pretty sure 314.22 is currently the latest official release by nVidia. If it is, then I do have the latest one. As yes, I clean installed it after I reformatted the PC. Here's a screenshot from GPU-Z running Diablo III (Character screen while having the artifacts).

I found something, at least. Hope it helps. I disabled Vsync on Diablo 3 and everything was okay but not as smooth as the screen was tearing without Vsync. So I disabled it in-game but enabled it in the nVidia Control Panel (Override global settings) and everything is fine so far.

Will give it a try on Dota 2 and I will post back later.

Tested on Bioshock Infinite, Diablo 3, and Dota 2. Any other tests that I should know of before trying to RMA my card?

Yeah I thought it was Dota 2 punya issue but other games pun ada the same thing. Different artifact patterns on different games but the main thing is the artifacts themselves. The card and the system shouldn't be a problem kan. Because so many builds out there lebih kurang je using 670 with no issue. But there is one thing tho, I noticed when I touch my casing, ada a small electric shock. Could it be that all this while that the power surge damaged the card?

Dekat luar. Casing punya metal handle. Also, if you touch dekat the headphone jacks punya holes tu, PZZZT!

Unscrew and check PSU? How do I check?

Yeah will be going there with the whole PC and ask them to check. I don't have the tools to check leakage.

Tu lah. If I RMA pun, it has been only 3 months. So fast ah die? haha.

I think it is faulty. When I switch the HDMI to the onboard port, everything works just fine.

Will definitely get a power surge extension.

Good thing can still RMA.
