This Saturday / Sunday I'll flash s4 rom.

Why do I have to install busy box if I want to backup Efs ?


Here is how to:
1-Put your device into USB debugging mode
2- download busybox from the market and installed it, launch busybox in the device and press install.
3- download EFS-PRO from here, don't forget to thank the developer

4- launch the application in you pc
5- in " Data Backup Method select" "create compressed tar " or "create partition image" (Personally i used the tar method)
Tick "Save to device storage" and "Save to pc storage,then click "Backup EFS" button.

And why I have to press 'install' in busy box ? What is install into it ?

Yes, most of rooted apps need busybox to access the phone system.
Note 2 stock Rom 1.5GB :-)

zzzz... i haven download the stock rom yet. tmr back office download...

maybe after i test Dmod.

you can check in download mode.

vol down + home button + power button.

jakgelap help me, I don't understand.

1 - Download the ROM
2 - Put the zip file in your internal/ext Sd card
3 - Reboot in recovery (CWM,TWRP)
4 - Wipe only if you're on a ROM different from DMod v4/v5 pre-release
5 - Flash the ROM
6 - Wait for the process to finish and reboot


I don't understand number 2 and number 5.

That means we put the file into sd card and flash again ?

The flash method is same like flashing cwm ? Click PDA and choose the file and press start ?

No need.
The step same as you install the s3m root.zip. instead of root.zip, choose the roms zip

You can do quick try the dmod, b4 installing the dmod rom, do nandroid backup to external sdcard. Flash the dmod rom. If not satisfied restore back the new nandroid backup. You'll be back to enox with all data and apps still intact like b4 flashing dmod .

Ohhh..... no need flash lar? Straight away install from cwm recovery! Now I am understand.

That's the purposes of custom recovery, to enable installing modded zip files . So basicly most flashing custom roms are using it

anyone have try antutu benchmark without the power saving mode? i got 6775 score...is it normal?i thought it will be higher...
