Battery life is a bit shorter compare to 4.3
Idle for overnight takes 5% of the battery
*
second that.. battery life is worst, need to deal with the google play service

Hi
I want to ask. My touchscreen not function at all. Did anyone face the problem?
*
Nope, have you dropped your phone before? Applied pressure to the screen? Have you tried resetting the phone?

Android kitkat make my XZR laggy.. Very sad recent update. Battery usage not as good as 4.3 JB. Some more no option to select video player during watching video on Facebook. Default video player auto play. Mine got mx player but no option to select the player to play. Anyone facing this problem?.
*
yup.. a bad update. Complains to the sony forum is also useless

After hard reset my zr more steady. So far no lagging issue. Only the battery usage still no improvement. The "android system" use more battery. Last JB 4.3 only use 6% after update to kitkat use 16~20%. Is it normal for XZR on kitkat?

Once you found abnormal battery drain, force stop Google service.. it will then return to normal

Need a some opinion here, is this worth still worth it to buy even a yr later?
Phone spec wise seems decent, 2 gb ram, internal 8gb, adreno 320..
Water resistant seems like a plus.

Z1 compact looks like the updated version of it, but i sorta like removable battery. Just a preference though..
*
for your money, its worth it. leave the extra cash for something else.
