QUOTE(waimin94 @ Apr 8 2014, 09:51 AM) okay, thanks!! I have some questions in my mind, do i need to chg anythg in developer options in order to make the phone better? I stop the screen from sleeping during charge, very nice feature when charging with dock, can act as a clock. Out of topic here, Z2 just came out as best camera phone! http://www.xperiablog.net/2014/04/07/xperi...ureviews-crown/

QUOTE(sss2sssss @ Apr 10 2014, 08:33 PM) BTW where got sell the charging dock for Xperia ZR (DK28)? you can go ipmart and buy the china import one, or go sony centre buy an official which cost twice as much. Quality wise the china one is better, more weight (they placed lead inside). Or better, go taopao or ebay but directly from china supplier. rm30+ converted This post has been edited by nixonyang: Apr 10 2014, 11:26 PM

QUOTE(michael9413 @ Apr 11 2014, 10:01 AM) i'm using Ori... it only use for charging while China is also including Data... china also no data, cause they used the same wording for every dock they sell. got data one is for the dock which directly charge the micro usb port. china one can also charge an extra spare battery. QUOTE(eone @ Apr 11 2014, 10:21 AM) Does the dock fit with the phone covered, or you need to remove the cover to dock? i modified the dock to fit with cover, otherwise hard cover will scratch your phone

QUOTE(coldfusion @ May 3 2014, 08:09 PM) Hey all, seeking owner's opinion: Planning on buying the ZR. I know there is z1 compact now but it doesn't have removable battery. (I NEED removable because my experience with phones has proved that removable battery is necessary..like when nothing responds) My primary concern is battery life. I need something that can last 24 - 30+ hours with light/moderate usage (1hr calls/1hr surfing/about 3hr screen on time/12hrs wifi, 12hrs data). Anyone able to achieve GSMArena's battery times? I also don't mind sticking with 4.2.2. for good batt life. Any opinions? Thanks in advance mine can easily last more than 15 hour before reaching 30-35%, minimal usage with constant connectivity to Wifi. Like any other phones out there, connecting to data drains your battery fast. Thats why i opt for wifi

QUOTE(coldfusion @ May 4 2014, 08:13 PM) 18hrs sounds alright. What do you think about the GSMArena's test? Thanks for sharing this Thanks for sharing your experience. Ideally i'd like to use wifi but realistically i do find myself using data to stay connected when I'm on the go (out of office/home) so I'd take data into account. Do you all find having removable battery useful at times? i'm using YES wifi dongle, thats why can keep connected everywhere. But i do find strange battery draining during standby mode, in about 7 hours it will drop 5-8 % (overnight after charging, i'll turn off the charger once the battery reach 100%)

QUOTE(coldfusion @ May 5 2014, 11:41 PM) most places i've read mention the same thing about battery drain during standby. tried checking which app is the cluprit? if you rooted, maybe you could use wakelock detector and then prevent this with something like greenify? Basically the most power used is by google's service... i'm not even connected when that happen
