Yes, I also think it's unlikely to get a corner at rm800k in DA. Intermediate with bigger built-up yes. Even endlots are asking for at least 1mil for most units on sale.

Over here in DA, most in my phase (VP about a year ago) are young families but I'm privileged to be sandwiched by two senior couples who bought DA as retirement homes. Both said they love the place as it is quiet (one of them sold his old place in Damansara Utama). Not very sure if the would say the same thing in a few more years. I said privileged because they are always home and help to jaga my house too.

Yes would love to know how the alignment issue in this area is solved. I was at a friend's condo in Armanee Terrace in Damansara Perdana. She showed me how the highway will run across the area which will be visible from her unit.

I bought a corner lot in DA. Could clearly see the house during it's construction. The most heartbreaking scene was when I saw the wall being up, I saw all clay bricks (in between houses) but sand at the end, kedekut mad.gif , and it faces the west. And yes, during some period in the year, my house is so hot!

You mean all over, in DA at least in between houses clay. In my SnP, they put mix clay, sand.

I don't have my SnP with me now, so I could be wrong when I said mixed clay and sands. But here's the spec of one of later DA phases

So brickwall = clay bricks. It is similar to DA then. Yes I remember sand bricks for internal walls (and end wall for endlot, corner....arhhh still can't get over it as it makes my house very hot) too as I saw that when we hacked a wall.

Thanks, it's very good to know as I've been always curious. Say if I take 1000 for terrace house. That means for my house, 3200k sqft it's about 320k for the cost, it's a corner, so wondering what the end wall cost like.

Alamak, thanks for correcting. Didn't notice it's in sqm. Anyway, still I'm wondering how much profit developer makes. My house cost 720k 3 years ago, about double the price of intermediate (around 2200sqft). 3200 sqft built-up, land is about 4700sqft. It I deduct the area where the house sits, I got around 2000sqft for the garden, backyard. My husband said they made a lot, as they got the land from the gov at maybe 20 sen per sqft rolleyes.gif
