Bulgari man smells exactly like this  except for the pineapple notes

Alright I am so sorry to say that I am officially calling off the split of quota due to the unforseen circumstances.

Any idea if perfumes etc are cheaper over there/ recommendations on what is better purchased over there than in M'sia?

Diptyque is a very nice house... Phylosykos is very nice fig scent, ngam our weather so well hehe

Taiwan, like most Asian countries, are quite pathetic when it comes to choices for niche. Forget about Taoyuan Airport duty free. Their selection for designers, for example, Chanel and Dior are the same as ours but only a little pricier after conversion. I was hoping to find Dior Fahrenheit Absolute but with no luck, which was commonly available in the UK.

One thing peculiar I found is that their Dior Homme was in light pink juice. Forgot which department store I went into will help you do VAT refund on the spot if you spend N amount of $ but they only carry designers. SOGO at Fuxing has one Hermes Boutique at ground floor near escalators. That's all that was interesting there. You best bet is Taipei101. They have a Chanel boutique and a small Diptyque counter by the escalators like Marver said. Chanel was a little pricier but not sure about Diptyque. I was there Oct last year. Not sure if the super friendly and patient long haired SA is still working there. She's quite pretty as well and almost had me bought a bottle of Tam Dao

Above all, happy shopping and have fun! Miss the hot spring and foods there.

(2) Quelques Fleurs l'Original - Some white florals
(3) Orangers en Fleurs - Some white floral with a hint of Turkish rose (like in Hammam Bouquet by Penhaligon's)

Fougere Royale does smell like one of the men's classics. Reminds me a bit of Romano Classic. Oakmoss isn't prominent. I don't get lavender. I've not smelled the original one, which some say it reminds them of English Fern by Penhaligon's. This new version doesn't smell anything like English Fern.

This is my holy grail of vetiver... I fell in love with this baby after I sniff Hermes vetiver tonka. This is on par or if not better than vetiver tonka, given its beautiful price point.

Opens up with atelier signature citrus, then immediately u got this sweet, natural, sumptuous plum note and the smoky vetiver... Who ever thought mixing vetiver with plum can be so marvellous... It also gives out a roast coffee vibe...

A very different take on vetiver... Tried a few vetivers, eg guerlain, tf, encre noire, vetiver tonka is the one that make me enjoy this gem so so much, very much underrated... Really fits the name... Fatal vetiver... Elegant, pleasant, posh

Projection and longevity won't disappoint. Super versatile, any event also no problem, I can't find anyone tat don't like this yet... My family members like it once I spray on my hand...

      Actually it's completely a blind buy for me since I never tried it compare to other scents from MFK.
      But after did a full sampling, it's completely mesmerized me.really love the white floral drydown.
      Some people might say it's more towards feminine but from me experience, it's still manageable
      (not too feminine)

First perfume purchase from HK
Breath of God by LUSH. 30ml of it is HKD$560 (tax-free). The exchange rate was 0.425 so mine is RM238. No freebies. The small LUSH counter I went to (LCX, Harbour City) was packed with mainland Chinese shoppers. Probably the SA was too busy to notice that I've asked for freebies. Of the others I've tried, I only liked Sikkim Girls.

You can purchase it online or at their physical stores in HK or SG but HK is still cheaper even after GST refund for buying at SG physical store. However, if you're buying online, SG is cheaper because shipping from HK is very expensive (HKD$172) :-
- SGD$103.27 + SGD$10.80 = RM$297.30 (114.07*2.6063)
- HKD$560 + HKD$172 = RM$309.71 (732*0.4231)
* The exchange rates are taken from a local bank based on today's rate.

I reviewed this before based on a decant from STC. This is what I posted on fragrantica :-
Incense, melon, cedar and vetiver. It's very medicinal but intriguing. Reminds me a bit of The Soft Lawn by Imaginary Authors. Moderate projection and longevity on my skin.

Recently I found out it actually smells like Salonpas, the medicated plaster. Not that it's a bad thing
