Eau Savauge is by Dior right? 3.4oz @ around 190 ringgit. That's around my budget, but can't buy anything at the moment cos been spending too much lately haha.

Definitely sample first. I have a feeling you wouldn't like it based on your preference for CK Be. I think you might like Allure Homme Sport by Chanel.

Yea, CW is still 1 of my fav, the pre-reformulated one of course, in fact it was my 1st bottle into the fragrance world.  Oh yea, there's a great deal for Pour Un Homme de Caron at FX. But i think u hv bad experience with this store so....

Its a hot morning in Kch, way cooler now & may well rain.  Scent in morning = Versace PH.  Afternoon & happy hour later gona hv Pure Malt
*
You're in Kuching too? I've had terrific experience with my recent purchase from them for a bottle of Fahrenheit Absolute biggrin.gif

eh ? Dior Homme is a projection bomb. You mean Dior Homme Collogne 2013 or Dior Homme Sport issit ?
*
Never tried DHC (2013) but my DH (2011) and DHI (2011) have moderate only projection on my skin.

ya, fr kch too.  Gd to know u ok w FX. Then u may want to get Pour Un Homme de Caron from them. Its really cheap there.

So how is Fahrenheit Absolute?  I may want to get it. Initially wanted Fahrenheit but has a 50-50 feel to it after tested it few times.  And decided not to get Fahrenheit 32 too as i felt its similar to Hanae Mori EDT which i already have.
*
I'm loving it that's why I bought a FB of it. Didn't like it when I first sniffed it in May this year because it's bitter. I tend to like oriental, vanilla with some sweetness. Ordered a decant a month later to try and slowly it grew on me. Been evaluating this for a few months before I took the plunge and bought it this month.

Opening has a hint of original Fahrenheit (which is not for me) together with balmy/bitter myrrh. I also get some cumin note though it's not listed. As it dries down I start to get some sweet incense maybe the sweetness is coming from vanilla, which is not listed as well. I don't really get the oud maybe it's well-blended in. Although it's an "absolute" it has moderate only longevity and wears close to my skin.

Yo fellow mates
Anyone come into Florentine Iris by Zegna?
*
Interesting. It's an iris based scent, which is one of my favorite notes. I have not tried it though.

SOTD - Racquets Formula by Penhaligon's. A discontinued floral scent for men but I personally think women can wear it too. Bought it for its Englishness.

SOTN - Hollywood by Playboy. I got this as a door gift and seriously it is not as cheap as what I thought. In fact, the scent is quite nice. Musky and woody. A little dark. Produced by Coty, I guess the scent will has some similarities to those A brand fragrances (Davidoff, Balenciaga, Vera Wang, Marc Jacob).
Haha, I had Coty's Playboy VIP, which I bought for fun but sold it recently.

SOTD - L'Eau d'Issey by Issey Miyake. Still deciding whether or not to let it go hmm.gif

YOu better hold it bro since it's one of all time masterpiece.
I'm still regret to let it go to my friend before sad.gif
But if u decided to let it go,feel free to contact me....hahaha
*
Haha, yeah it is and one of the best sellers too. I still like it though. The use of Yuzu is quite unique in my book. It just hardly made it into my rotation this year. It shares the same love with AdG too, which I just sold recently.

SOTD - Interlude by Amouage
Its scent, complexity, projection and longevity are to die for. I know it may sound counterintuitive but it smells like bbq beef burger as a whole, which I fell in love with at first sniff. Been sampling this for a few times for a few months before getting a full bottle of it (tester of course).

Tried Esprit fragrances today and one of them smells just like Midnight in Paris by Van Cleef & Arpels. Also tried Sevillian Neroli by Crabtree & Evelyn and I get similar vibe as Versace Pour Homme.

sorry newb question. what do you mean by tester bottles?
is it the miniature bottles?
*
Go to any perfume counter, those bottles for you to try or which sale associate would spray on scent strip for you are testers. The juice is the same as retail except that it only comes in plain box and sometimes without cap. It's much cheaper but I wouldn't get tester if it was a gift for my significant other biggrin.gif

Thanks for letting us know this new niche house, new at least for me. How much is a bottle of this? One of them, The Bug seems like my kinda scent with the resins.
