Hi guys, my dad is planning to buy a brand new Nissan Teana 2.5L V6. However, many reports have said that the fuel consumption of the car is very high. We are quite worried, because fuel prices are most definitely going to be increased as part of the governments move to cut subsidies. I would like those who actually own a Nissan Teana 2.5L V6 to share with me your experiences :

1) How fuel efficient is the car ?

2) How is the driving performance ? (because CVT is known to be sluggish)

3) Why do I see many 2.0L Teana instead of 2.5L ? Is it because of the cheaper price or because the 2.0L is poweful enough ?

4) Any problems you have faced with the car ?

The high fuel consumption may be the disadvantage. But the advantage is that it is better and cheaper than teana 2.5.

But really, if i consider this car, the fuel consumption is the least of my worries.

Being an accountant, i don't believe in purchasing expensive cars. hehehe

It's a beautiful car. Mine is teana 2.5, year 2011.
I've done 123k km. Fuel consumption very good and oustation is even better. For full tank, I get about 700Km (outstation) Local and 500 km.

Parts are expensive, but if you maintain it with Tan Chong, of course it's a little expensive, but you will be fully satisfied.

So far now it's been about 9vto 10 years, there has been no major problems.

It's a lovely car I would say.

If similar to Teana (comfort base) would be the N. Fuga/Cima or infinity Q70, direct compete with T. Crown, Lexus GS
