HI all,
I am a graduate in Electrical and Electronic. I have been working for 2 years already. My job scope is software base, using C programming. I would say, it is more to firmware engineering. The problem now is, if I want to move on, I do not know whether the skills I have now is sufficient for me or not.
What if I change field, back to hardware or production? Will my pay be cut down as well? Current salary is 3k plus.
Really doubtful about the my job scope here and also the needs of the current market.
Thanks.

In engineering profession, switching discipline is rather hard without sacrifice in salary as your experience and skillsets are not much useful of the discipline that you want to join. At least from my experience can tell me.
But the fact is if you think you are more interested in hardware or production (<- Are you sure?), can you can guaratee that after you join?
