Hi, can PM me latest promo of this Android box?
Can I watch Astro channels?

To ensure our customers could reach us in long term, we don’t not sell illegal Iptv Service that theft channels from Astro. You can subscribe those service from third party.

Q10 Pro has the HDD enclosure where U9H do not have, however U9H has higher compatibility with Android apps such as Astro GO, Hypptv and Kodi. Minix is Kodi official sponsor, it has very high compatibility with Kodi.

In addition, Minix has English forum to support customers.

just like to add...

the HDD slot is very useful for those who use utorrent and/or kodi quasar.

it's a pity himedia cannot do astrogo as astrogo now has improved a lot in picture quality - many channels are now in HD.

himedia q10pro futeko forum is helpful too:

nicety, have u had the chance to compare picture quality between q10pro and u9h?

with same video, same TV?

i read many comments but without clarity - some say q10pro with imprex2 is slightly better; others say u9h with kodi player about the same..?

Q10pro... a tip for those using kodi quasar with path set to internal HDD...

kodi quasar on q10pro can only deliver DD and DD+ audio, can't do dts and higher.

if quasar is your thing, try utorrent app from playstore.

u can select link magnet and play direct with this app; like quasar, no need to wait for completion.

the good news is with native player or MXpro player, u can get dts, dtshdma, ddtruehd audio as well.

and get online subs too.

of course, above is assuming u have good speed and yr hdd has sufficient storage.

100mbps, can do 10-20gb files, nice!

nicety, Astro GO, Hypptv is apps i would like to use on TV box, this is suppose to replace my hypp TVbox.
As for Kodi, both U(H and Q10pro will also be supported right? the only thing is U9H being Minix have proper support forum on Kodi.
Q10pro cannot use Astro GO, Hypptv?

besides, how about those 4k video codec, HEVC, HDR, 10bit colour, both devices perform the same?
audio codec is the same right?

*3.5" HDD enclosure is a welcoming feature.

AVFAN, thanks for pointing out http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?board=14.0

astrogo and unifi playtv (hypptv e'where) do not work on q10pro; iflix does.

kodi works fine but kodi... been using for >6 years, about to junk it.

becos of legal issues, no more great addons, only simple stuff... there are much better apps for what kodi addons currently offer.

for local playback, q10pro is superb - will play almost all files, all types, no worries for this.

if u r into full bluray's, u get full BD menus too.

with great video and audio output quality.

Yes, picture quality is very subjective depend on people. It is very close now, highly competitive now. The pros is Q10 Pro has the HDD enclosure, the pros of U9H is higher apps compatibility.

If AstroGO and Hypptv is your mandatory requirement then you have no choice other then U9H. If HDD enclosure if your key requirement then you have no choice other than Q10 Pro.

Kodi, HDR, 4K, HEVC, 10 bit colour, DTSX, ATMOS and etc almost the same for both Q10 Pro and U9H.

Decide base on your key requirement, there is not best of the best but best to meet your requirement.

AVFAN, some mkv files come with better audio which are DTS or DTS-HD...etc, so which player should use if playback from internal HDD? Just use the build-in apps will do?
