Dear Customers,

Please take note of the below announcement and the solution to refresh you existing apps if you encounter the same error message. The workable APK files already uploaded in the skydrive, just uninstall the current version and reinstalled with the new APK files.

Please read this for HITV related... I believe you guys understand Chinese :
http://bbs.himedia.cn/thread-175249-1-1.html

Due to restricted by Chinese government :
http://tech.sina.com.cn/i/2014-09-19/01209622332.shtml

http://news.so.com/ns?tn=news&q=%E5%B9%BF%...%8B%E6%9E%B6app

beside HITV, all the Chinese Video On Demand apps (TV Version apps, not mobile version apps) no longer provide service to user who install apps on TV Box (apps can detect installed device)... you guys need to use special 'hack/modified' version only can work on TV Box... if download those apps directly from official site (Youku,Sohu,Tudo...etc) will not work on Android TV Box.
For those who need special hack/modified version of Chinese VOD TV apps which is still can work on Android TV Box then you can download this apps (装机必备) from ZNDS and install via 装机必备 the apps will work again...

This is how the TV apps looks like after blocked:

To isolate the issue due to hardware or software, just fresh install your Q10II with latest firmware. Test it first without installing any apps first.

The latest firmware is 108 which build in Mango Launcher which is different from your current launcher. If you want to have the same launcher, the latest is 107 . pls check my skydrive.

Hello everyone!
I'm new here. I've just bought HiMedia Q10II (in Poland) and the image quality is really weird - kind of yellowish, something like the contrast or brightness was bad. I've noticed it while using XBMC - the letters of the menu were hardly visible, so I increased the contrast and brightness (in the device's settings). Then the menu in XBMC started to look quite ok, but other features, and also movies had weird colour... Did you notice something similar in your devices? Or have you heard or read about it?
I'd be grateful for the answer...

Nicety,
I just found out that for movie file transfer between my desktop PC and Himedia Q10ii player using the onboard Gigabit ethernet port, the maximum transfer rate that I can achieved is only around 4MByte/s. Whereas if I connect the Himedia player network cable to my notebook and perform the same file transfer, I can get 7MByte/s.
My current setup is as followed:

Desktop PC ->gigabit port -> gigabit switch-->Aztech Homeplug 500Mbps 115EP -->Aztech Homeplug 500Mbps 115EP-->gigabit port-->Himedia Q10ii player

transfer rate: 4MByte/s (max)

Desktop PC ->gigabit port -> gigabit switch-->Aztech Homeplug 500Mbps 115EP -->Aztech Homeplug 500Mbps 115EP-->gigabit port-->Dell notebook

transfer rate: 7MByte/s (max)

Is there anything that you are aware I can tune on the Himedia player to speed up the transfer rate?

Thanks.

If my understanding is correct you copy the file from desktop to Q10 and to Notebook and your desktop show different transfer rate.

The above test not just measure the network performance, the cpu your notebook is more powerful and,memory is more than your Q10.

You did not mention the operating system of your desktop and,laptop. If both are Windows, then both Windows are using the,same native file sharing. Android is using Samba protocol to emulate share folder. Both are not comparable.

Nicety,
Yes you are correct. I agreed with you on the samba protocol that might be the bottleneck. Initially was thinking of upgrading my homeplug but I supposed the bottleneck is still on the Himedia player.
