is Q10 powerful enough for online streaming, browsing and installing/using some Android apps?
*
Yes, both Q5 and Q10 are sufficient for online streaming, browsing and using some Android apps. Trust me, HiMedia is different from other manufacturer, they will not release half cook product. That is the reason Himedia took so long and yet to launch the dual core device.

QUOTE(jutamind @ Jul 21 2013, 04:23 PM)
can we install XBMC and Navi-X add on into Q10? does Q10 support flash?

any idea how big is the difference of video quality if i use composite tv cable (yellow-red-white) vs component tv cable (red-blue-green)?
*
Sure can install the xBMC, we preinstall xBMC for both Q5 and Q10 included the addon Navi-X, Channel1 and etc.

If you want to have peace of mind and good quality video, I would advise use HDMI interface.

6). Online streaming movies and dramas such as PPS & PPTV. P/S: to be noted the available of the free streaming apps is beyond our control, we are unable to guarantee the availability

Hi. How much for this Q10? Can cod? Is there English manual? Not very good in Chinese. Mostly watch latest HK drama.
*
Yes, the Android is fully English, English manual included. The challenge is the China Apps are in Chinese. But you still can use US apps like xBMC.

Btw, my location is Penang, are you from Penang for cod?

The Blu-ray navigation menu is demo on the video at minute 1:20, both Q5 and Q10 navigation menu are the same.

actually a lot of us still keep asstro because of our old parents still want to watch hk and china tv channels. so if you can point out how to make it easy for them to watch those, there will be a lot more people switching to buy your product  biggrin.gif
*
Thank you for advise bro. However, I do not want to set the wrong expectation to my customers. I would like to clarify that this is not comparable with paid service like Astro. Astro give you guaranteed service because you pay subscription every month. The Internet streaming is free service, but there is no service guaranteed.

Watching China channels definitely no problem because no license restriction. But HK TVB need some tricks.

Can I download movie to the sata and watch later? Can Q5II use for downloading as well? The sata is just plug and play right ? Thanks
*
Thank you for inquiry bro.

Download is depend in the Apps not the hardware, the Sata basically provide you the internal storage. For example you can download from QVOD apps, but xBMC do not allow download only can watch online.

The Sata is plug and play if your Sata disk already formatted.

bro, are you going to take in Q10ii  anytime soon? i am interested in it , thanks
*
Not yet. Normally Himedia will release in China market first later only release to oversea market.

Similar to Q5II, it took 3 months waiting time for the oversea version.
