Picasa2 user here. So far it's the most convenient photo managing software I've used. Nice GUI as well!

Haha... well seems like this thread is still around.
For my iBook, I use iPhoto 06 loh... it's interface is something similiar to Picasa.

Well, I guess you should really consider ACDSee at least for now... before the photos go way out of control tongue.gif
