really need help from sifu here
Wait...ok so you rooted your phone 5 months ago, and you JUST installed the ROM from the link you gave?
Dude, that is a ROM for the S3 .............
I think you now need to reflash stock ROM in Download mode from PC Odin. Please read posts 7 and 8.
i couldnt find the rom in xda dev , note 2 section now i've posted the wrong one i think so next step, reflash with stock rom is it? trying right away!
Flashing carries the risk of bricking your device if improperly done. I hope you have done your reading properly before you went ahead. I'm also surprised you can't find Hawkish on the Note 2 site.
There are links to ROM indices in post 7.
Are you actually in the correct Note 2 section of XDA? There are different threads for the US Carrier versions. You need to be in the N7100/N7105 thread.
Just curious, want to ask the Note II users, what do you all want in the Note III ? (besides the 1080p screen obviously)
Personally, I do want a slightly larger screen, yet pocketable device with an Otterbox Bigger Battery for longer SOT. Larger default storage (or if it remains at 16Gb, de-bloated FW like what Samsung plans after the BBC bashing session will also be fine) Allshare/Miracast compatibility that doesn't get screwed with custom ROMs. Default dual-SIM is a nice to have. LTE would be a nice to have but not critical.
well, it's hard, and durable, cutouts are all nicely done, everything's cool in my opinion, except for one thing: the fact that the case is VERY DIFFICULT TO REMOVE.
Usually hard plastic / TPU case are quite difficult to remove. That's why I loathe taking them off. Let it be je lah. lol I choked on my drink reading this

Nah he won't be interested. It's hard.
Luckily I *wasn't* drinking. Otherwise I would have spewed forth upon my screen.
2 more mths to go still. surely will do n now rushing to save to get a korea phone as well
That's going to be superpeak Summer season. Should be quite hot, but it will mean daytime shots will be pretty good. Jeju is VERY NICE. Going to post some shots already, finally understood how to get Google+ working. Unfortunate that dropbox doesn't work to post pic links here.
If you used an iPhone you might have noticed when you "tap to focus", not only will it change the focus it will also change the exposure of the shot automatically. Such as when your frame has a bright part and a dark part.
When you tap the bright part (highlights), it automatically adjusts accordingly to prevent overexposure. Same goes for the dark part (shadows), it adjusts itself to prevent underexposure.
It changes focus where you tap. Metering is adjustable via the metering function. Well I'm not picky as long as the pics turn out alright. I suppose they're alright ?

This might give you a better idea on what I was trying to say
Take note @ 0:17, the guy taped to expose (I know our Native Note 2 cameras are unable to do split exposure metering and focus, so ignore that)
What I wanna know is are you able to tap different parts of the frame to expose the photo differently?
Never did think of trying that to make different exposures for different parts of the frame. So I suppose the answer is No from me. I selected an EV for the entire frame that felt good enough for me.
