I only found 2 dev related links I think, the others were theming..... theming links are in Themes section in post 3.

Can you remind me which were the other dev tools...... too many things...

For those who want to format their 64Gb or larger cards to FAT32, an easy tool to do it.

http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm

Download by clicking on the screenshot pic. Quick Format works well. I did this because I got a 64Gb card for my Mediapad and formatting to FAT32 works for it.

Added to post 7.

Yeah that works well. Use that to format my 64gb to fat 32 about a month ago and so far no issues.

i notice the maxis in my place doesn't register warranty for you.
i questioned them on this and they gave me official call that we dont need to register as long as we keep the receipt and contract.

Dear friends.

Just bought a OTG wire for Note II.

I tried with a 8gb pendrive no problem. Have you guys tried with your hard disk ? is there a way to connect my hard disk without rooting ?

Note II, 32GB memory card. I will be going travelling so might carry a 1TB HDD and always can watch movie.

Please advice. TQVM

Hello you haven't been here in a while. Post 7 has some info. Your HDD is probably NTFS, so you need additional software to read it. And you probably need to hook it up to some power source, maybe a powerbank, since the Note 2 (nor does ANY phone currently) does not have the power output to drive an external HDD.

Is yours the 3.5" type or 2.5" type? 2.5" type you should be able to use a powerbank. 3.5" you need AC power.

Speaking sense won't get anyone bombed. tongue.gif

You probably have a Y cable with 2 large male USB A connectors. Connect the data end to the OTG cable and the supplementary power end to the powerbank.

And you probably need that NTFS reader app in post 7. Read that post link as well on how sai86 connected his HDD.

For dealing with file systems, you need root. Otherwise you could format your HDD into FAT32 tongue.gif
If yours is on the old firmware versions before Jan, you can run Exynos Abuse which is the simplest and keeps everything intact.

Otherwise you have to use the other methods.

You must be kidding smile.gif. There's huge gap between your old phone than note 2. Hang? Lack performance? The only one that complain about that are the people didn't used android phone b4 brows.gif
