the unanimous decision is use TWRP, it has the fastest backup speed, restore speed, most stable as well.

Both TWRP or CWM are good, but it depends on which ROM you are trying to flash. Some ROMs prefer TWRP, some prefer CWM.

Best to use TWRP for Monx. Monx ROM comes with Aroma installer, so safest to use TWRP. Last time I used CWM while installing a rom with Aroma, it got stuck halfway 

most people vouch for twrp so i will stick with it too.

anyway, i finally modified my homescreen to something i can be satisfied with.

CWM/TWRP --> Zip
Odin --> Tar

Mobile odin --> tar/img/zip 

I am flasher but i dun have it. 

Just my own opinion, basically i dun trust it. I like to use recovery as i know what it is doing.

me using wanamlite and adam kernel that came with it, and the battery life is by far better than the others i tried, though only by a little. and i am thinking of going perseus soon.

Sorry, i was bz during working, tats why lesser and lesser coming here. Last flash was on Jan i think, i didn't update any after that.

Mine using Nilkin hard cover, so the top and bottom are open , i dropped 3 times from car, first time hit on side edge cover, lucky no issue. Second time bottom right cracked, and last night one more time, top right edge cracked. My phone is done....

You can run on H+ for the entire day, there are still juices left for other stuffs.

Perhaps the data is highly compressible? I also recall the backup with the EFS tool was about 8mb.
