QUOTE(joytest @ May 11 2013, 10:02 PM) New Toy: Nice tool, gonna use this. Also side question, any suggestion for a nice stable lock screen replacement app?https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...tine&feature=md App Quarantine Posted on Google+ What's going on with Google bloatware recently? On my devices I have several Google Apps in quarantine (disabled) that I don't really use, e.g. Google Earth or Google Play Movies. Magically those apps got updated automatically and are active again. To explain this further.... There's a feature in App Quarantine that notifies the user when an app is no longer in disabled (usually after an update). This was a feature needed during the 2.x days when apps were updated even when they were disabled. So I could automatically (or interactively) put them back in quarantine. But since 3.x/4.0 Android finally respects disabled apps, e.g. doesn't update them when they were disabled, so this feature is no longer needed. Now few days ago on my Nexus 7 I was really surprised when the App Quarantine notification suddenly showed up and notified me that Google Play Movies is no longer disabled, and today the same happened with Google Earth. I know the Google Play Store updates itself automatically in the background, and probably also the Google Play Services framework, but I did never see any Google apps updating themselves. Anyone else seen such behavior? What's happening here? I had plans to remove said feature in a future version of my app, but now I guess I have to think twice before doing so! This is still a behavior that should be controlled by my app... oh I mean by its users |

QUOTE(joytest @ May 12 2013, 02:47 PM) Emulator? Any kind of emulation is going to suck somewhat. It is running JIT code, so the parser has to be very efficient. If not, then... Yes i did test it on my s3 before but it not only lags, but force closes as well. Instant uninstall without even trying to find out the reason of failure. If it says it can work on the following: I'm quite sure the others are going to lag even worse. Only the Nexus 10 in this list, and maybe Nexus 4, has a more powerful GPU. hooh888 any views on this? |

oh guys, i noticed normally once i'm done flashing something, there will be a 'successful' message on twrp, but earlier when i flashed wanamlite 3.7 it said 'failed', but nothing seems wrong in the activity log above the message, and nothing seems wrong after reboot either, it still flashed to wanamlite 3.7. should i be scared?
