QUOTE(zerorating @ Apr 6 2014, 02:10 PM) As for me, range is not a problem, but wireless congestion as many AP using the same channel, it getting worse since alot people using HSBB. if your device support channel 12, 13, please use it as it not congested much, other than that, use channel 1,6, 11 u mean if many people share the same connection at home? |

QUOTE(cedm @ Apr 11 2014, 04:14 PM) Yes, but you will need to pay TM RM500 in cancellation penalty. No more rebate already. The promo was til febOn the other hand, ABN will give you a RM200 discount (RM20/month discount for the next 10 months) for switching broadband provider. But beware that ABN may not be any better than Unifi, depending on your expectations... |

QUOTE(Riolis @ Apr 11 2014, 09:16 PM) Because its depends on the server, I'm guessing the dallas server is jumping to more hoops then the NY server. I don't know their ip so I cant do tracert to see wheres the bottleneck is. or rather I'm not really bothered to know, since my requirement arent that high, not running a web server, game server etc, I'm happily on ABN dling prawn and have rm 100 savings each month. Wah nice. Really excited for my new speed. But Based on ur earlier post, I need to prepare for slow speed during peak hours. Just hope it won't be slow till 1mbps. That would be too much. >.< |

Anyone here now??? The cable guy is in my home and he said he will place the modem in the living hall. Problem is my PC is not in the hall, its in the room.. He said use WiFi but my desktop no WiFi receiver leh. He needs to connect the Ethernet cable from my hall to room which he said it's over 40 meters and he never done it before. I hope he can help me settle. If not how to use internet. I certainly won't want to move my PC to hall. Any advice guys?
