Is it normal to have side effects after taking proton pump inhibitors? such as vommit and how long gastritis occur ,what is difference between gerd and gastritis ? I can't sleep the whole night , and feel uncomfortable in my abdominal area , is it right when the doctor prescribed such powerful drugs when he was just push my stomach and diagnosed me with gastric ?

Is it ok if I stop the medication after 2 days , does he diagnosed me wrongly ? Sorry I posted in the wrong section , please give some advice tq and I need help . Will it damage my body if I just consumes for only 2 days , I know it is ridiculous to ask this .

the effect i get when i have the gastric for first time is i cannot sleep well for 2 month, feeling unwell like high blood preassure, hard to breath just like cant get enuf air into my lungs, heartburn, feel dizzy can see star sometimes because of the hard breath and can lead to panic attack. alot more effect ...

So is it right the way doctor diagnosed me ? I may have gastric , but is it life treatening ? Should I continued to eat the medicine until it become better ? , what if I' m not gastric , please help .

go see specialist and get a colonscopy to see what wrong inside your stomach.

there is nothing to be afraid. Malaysian tends to easily diagnosed with gastric due to unhealthy foods consumptions and poor diet culture. That why, it is always crowded in the gastroentrologist section.

If you sickness still presist or got worse, advisable to see specialist. Especially if you have insurance covering your cost.

Thanks for your suggestion , ya I always drink coffee and tea all the time , and yes I 'm eating outside maybe that's why I get gastric .

just try drink warm plain water and eat plain food for a while. Will ease a bit of your pain.

dun worry, i have gastric problem too, sometimes i ate too fast and it effect my digestion, now also feel so susah now, medicine seems cant helps at all
