^ beg to differ, with a normal 1.6L engine, it is just another normal car, test driven when VW was having roadshow in DPC, honestly i'd prefer my wfie's 2003 Vios anytime, the polo sedan is just sluggish.

QUOTE(kcng @ Oct 12 2014, 10:52 PM)
my clutch is at 66k km and counting...

my sc says i need to replace the clutch as the clutch reading shows that the clutch need replacement...
but i feel no juddering or anything like that...
and i drive the car much harder than most of the drivers out there....

since my SC says so, might as well drop my car there and get it replaced...

but rule of thumb is, if u are worried about maintenance/parts cost, u are not ready for a conti car...

I wonder what kind of reading they are able to provide, vagcom?

I waited 3 months for EBC pads. From 20% pads left, to totally gone liao. That's why discs ended up damaged also laugh.gif Couldn't wait any more, so just went with stock. Could likely have gotten slightly cheaper outside too, but honestly no time to go out to source. SC is convenient.
*
I import my own ebc pads and it's much more faster and economical. So far never been taxed. A front pair of ebc yellow stuff easily cost RM600 here but buying online will only cost more or less Rm400.

can consider bulk purchase next time to share the shipping cost laugh.gif

Any idea what's causing this? Oil level is fine and it only happens during cold start. Kinda on and off and it only beeps for few seconds and back to normal.

I can't speak for all but both me and r3kahsttub weren't taunt by the DSG issue despite the decent mileage we have clocked.

I did check with SC before but I got the same answer where PGTI (mine batch 2012) wasn't an affected batch/model.

Guys if your car is covered by Windscreen insurance, then stone hit your windscreen and gets a star crack, will they (VW) replace new windscreen?

Does VW Sg.Besi do windscreen replacements?

I change before at Glenmarie but that wan the crack was half the length of the full windscreen.
*
Just make the crack bigger, that's what all the 3rd party workshops do anyway if the crack is too small. icon_idea.gif

Hi peeps, got a call from VGM asking me to send my car in to Swire motors in Puchong for inspection by the German experts, probably over some recent complaints i made over the satisfaction survey. Did anyone got the same call? hmm.gif

Hey guys anyone else drive a polo hatch? My 3 year old polo is making a lot of noise around the doors when going on bumpy roads. I suspect it is from the rubber hardening.

Anyone experiencing this too?
*
it's the rubber door seal and you should get them to replace it, or, put some silicone spray to reduce the noise.

Thank you for the reply. Do you know where to get the spray for cheap or cheaper replacement parts?
*
I was offered to replace for free by VGM, silicone spray you can find in any diy shops range from rm20+
