Slow poke. Hehe... Thinking of getting this. Hopefully got audit unit. Really interested with T70P, but not really practical for portable due to the large size. sweat.gif

This is momentum on ear, boomy than the original momentum over ear, to me is more towards fashion but still sound good, but not as good as the original momentum...

Not sure if Jaben will hold promotion for this. I love their portable design, because I want to use with my mobile, not to show off. biggrin.gif
So, it's new released?
*
Yes it just released in Singapore this month, and stock just arrived in Jaben Singapore yesterday.

I guess you tried over the ear version before? Any comment?
*
Over ear is good, sounds pretty balance and natural to me, but I am not a fans of close can, so can't comment much.

Also I don't think over ear is portable, the size is quite big.

Which one should I get, Beyerdynamic DT 770 32ohm or Beyerdynamic DT 770 80ohm?

Source: I plan to use it with both my smartphone and laptop as sources. I usually prefer not to use amps as it's too much of a hassle to carry it around (can't walk around with too much stuff in your pockets, man).

The dilemma here is that the 80ohm have velour pads while the 32ohm version uses pleather pads. Despite knowing that the 32ohm suits my needs better, I want to buy the 80ohm for its comfy velour pads. From what I have read, the pillow-like, extremely comfortable velour pads are one of the main features of the beyer dt770 that people keeps bringing up.

Also, some people say that the 80ohm version works just fine unamped if listening at low volumes. How low is low volume? I usually listen to music at 70% loudness to prevent hearing damage.
*
32 ohm for portable, and change it to velour pad.

but to me DT770 not that portable, I prefer iem for moving around, or maybe just me.

Eh, I actually mostly use JayBird BlueBuds X when moving around. I just want an over-ear headphone to isolate noise when going to noisy places. If environment very noisy I can hardly hear my music.

then go ahead brows.gif

My Rig: Smartphone and Notebook
Type Of Usage: Music, Movies, YouTube, Gaming.
Headphone/Earphone Type: Open-Ear, Closed-Ear, In-Ear
Budget: Around RM200-300

I am using Sennheiser CX-300 II Precision right now. Pretty satisfied, I am planning to get a headphone and I am eyeing the PX-100 II which cost about RM269 in Jaben IIANM. I am too afraid to venture into another brand other than Sennheiser. Last time, I tried a pair of Shure and a pair of V-Moda... they are good for the price but I always go back to Sennheiser. Any advise would be much appreciated. flex.gif

PX-100 II is good, but don't expect the same amount of bass from CX-300 II, cause is open. Isolation also not that good.

You can try out HD 218, 228 and 238 series.
