here is my little review about the Crego slow juicer received week ago based on 1st time usage juicer 4 big and long stick Celery & Parsley.
Juicy efficiency + produce near half juice on juice collector + pulp is really dried + produce really dark green color juice (celery/parsley) + juicer comes with 2 assembly fliters/nets (tiny hole & bigger hole) i used the tiny for this round - i encounter fibre stuck at the gear of assembly, not sure if i put too much of vege leaf at once General + operating sound is quiet than centifugal type juicer; but still have sound la + the name call for slow juicer but i think it is not really slow haha Juicer Installation * first time installation I felt confuse but still manage to setup it Cleaning Difficulty - i will said pulp will remain inside from the pulp tube to the augar itself (pulp on augar i did not snap photo- pulp at augar is dried) - so flush water while operating juicer is NOT sufficient to washing it (based on celery+pasrley) - so i dismantle the whole assemblies and clean it piece by piece (they provided 2 brushes, 1 type likes tooth brush and 360 brush) tooth brush back side is useful to pull out the remaining pulp from pulp tube. 360 brush is good to brish tiny metal filter holes. - because i juicy celery and parsley, their fibre is really stuck at those tiny holes and need to brush sometime to clean every holes, manual mentioned that it is not clean after use it will become stubborn stain. theoretically if tiny get block, i think juice will come out slowly... - cleaning pulp from augar is simple once you dismantle it, flush water pulp will go away - i think the most cleaning time is on the filter/net, over cleaning time 10-15min - there are 2 silicon rubber from the assembly unit, red and grey. red rubber is easy to remove clean and put back. the grey rubber is very hard to put back, i spend 10min (time not included in cleaning time) to put back, and i realized actually no pulp sip into this rubber. i will not remove grey rubber in future. 1st time cleaning is too noob lol... i open everything! I will said always dismantle and clean it, you will get familiar on the hardware installation and not fear/forget the steps. What u see on the images are: 1. I already finished juicy, i flush water to clean it, not success; so those juice on collector is not real juice. at the same time u can see the pulp remain in the tube up to augar. you wont see pulp at augar unless you dismantle it. you also can see the quality of juice in the bottle. 2. on second image, you can see the red silicon rubber and grey silicon rubber as what i mentioned before in cleaning step. QUOTE(newsongfashion @ Jul 25 2017, 12:38 PM) From my experience of using crego, it's better the celery to cut in short pieces before juicing. And it's also not suitable to juice wheat grass due to the high fibre most likely stuck in the strainer. To prevent the these, the wheat grass need to cut in short pieces and in small amount each time to juice. may i know the strainer got 2 type, how to know which to use?Overall performance of this crego I will give big Try to cut in shorter pieces for vege leaf with high fibre and small quantity. For juicing the apple (without cut), carrot (without cut) , beetroot, orange, lemon, pomegranate, etc are great do you remove seeds before juicy for apple, orange, etc? pomegranate juicy with seed also no problem? |

QUOTE(MeToo @ Jul 25 2017, 05:15 PM) takes 10~15min just to clean it? i believe it depend what you juicy, in my case is high fibre vege such parsley, celery. it depend how cleanness level you want, my case i want remove every tiny hole.OMG... it takes me 2 min to clean a traditional panasonic blender.. rinse.. brush.. blend again with soap inside... rinse again... I foresee if it takes me 15 min to clean then I wont use it at all... traditional juicer will have similar problem in cleaning on strainer, assembly, etc. but you talk about blender, by the design of blender is way simple there are no strainer, etc basically just blade and body. blender will not juicy for leaf vege... i am lazy to elaborate more.... continue what you like to blend. |

QUOTE(newsongfashion @ Jul 26 2017, 12:13 PM) It's up to you to choose which type Fine Strainer - For juicing without fibre Course Strainer - For smoothie (with fibre) Normally I use fine strainer to juice. No, I don't remove seeds. Just put whole apple inside Seed is good... eg grape seed, lemon seeds, etc contain antioxidant and help in blood circulation For orange, I peel off the skin first before juice..otherwise.. sour |

QUOTE(RoofTopPrince @ Jul 29 2017, 08:04 AM) any good and reasonable priced slow juicer to recommend? thinking to buy it thru lazada but... not sure which one good. it is depend what is your budget? everyone have different thought of good juicer vs budget.initially slow juicer is extreme expensive, 1st come from Hurom >1500, then got other expensive brand too like kurving, primada, etc. all these branded. then slowly after many years got so many copycat brand range from 400 to 1000. if you read thru this thread, you will find there are users bought expensive brand like kurving, cheap brand from lazada 4xx-5xx and also 7xx-8xx like crego, etc. crego is the last brand i hear. i never have experience buy thing from lazada, i read review for slow juicer 4xx-5xx from lazada buyer, most of them are negative, some even said the received unit juicer is kind of used item, got pulp left inside. performance wise kind like little bit below moderate. then i checked crego, i like few things like ship to my door, if warranty collect from my door (stated in their website), yet in their facebook review is >90% are very good review, spare part can get from their store, but problem is rm899 and i wait and wait, ngam ngam after 3 yrs i created this thread, when i have budget to buy, it give rm100 discount somemore, so offer price is rm799. to me i think this is consider good deal for such juicer. not sure about you.... before i made the choice on crego, i remembered i survey other brand like japanese brand price range 7xx-8xx, cannot remember is panasonic or toshiba, etc... |
