QUOTE(Tapway @ May 7 2013, 08:45 PM) It's a 50-50 chance... Anyhow they might announce a new and improved Nexus 4, with kickass HD screen etc.. and first in line to receive android update.. argh it's killing me. HTC One is the best looking Android phone there is now.. Yeah, the best right now is HTC One.. But this waiting is killing me too. It's been 2 months from the launch and we still don't get it -.- |

HTC Malaysia is killing themselves in this fight against Samsung again with all these delays -.-.
If KL stocks also delay, which means Sarawak here will be worse? This post has been edited by stephen2282: May 8 2013, 05:27 PM |

QUOTE(jason111785 @ May 11 2013, 10:25 PM) anyone has intermintent issue with data connection (maxis). I can't download any apps or hardly load up any webpage.. even on LTE.. I cant.. Bar is full H/LTE/4G logo is there.. but no network activity... few places also same.... Speedtest can't even finish with error "network issue".. I wish this is maxis prob.. and not my phone... Check your access points. If it's maxis you will have 3 selections. Maxis 3G, Maxis GPRS, MMS. (Not very sure) select the first option, then delete the 2nd APN. Then you can use normally. I use maxis too |

QUOTE(bayrock @ May 11 2013, 11:56 PM) Hey guys. Just got mine. Silver colour. However the phone can't detect the sim. I'm using the same sim as my blod 3. I had it cut into microsim size. Could it be phone? Or it is the sim? Maybe I should get a proper microsim from maxis and change my plan to surfmore from the BIS plan You should try requesting a new microsim from Maxis... Even though my cut maxis sim fits in nicely and working properly, but it could be chips problem. Try cleaning ur sim with eraser? What do you guys think? I'm worried that it could be the phone |

QUOTE(micgil @ May 15 2013, 01:30 PM) Mine the screen will hang for a moment. Experienced it a couple of times and this morning home button has problems too. Bought it last Thursday. Seems like system is not as stable as iOS. Never experience problem throughout the 2 years plus of using it. Should be stock kernel problem... the best way to solve is to unlock, root then flash custom kernel on XDA. But if you don't want to do that, either do a factory reset or wait for new updates... Never experience issues on my first 2 days on stock ( which is my longest record on using stock lol! The stock rom of this phone works great. ) But I can't resist the temptation of mod+UV+OC then root it on 3rd day. |

QUOTE(micgil @ May 15 2013, 01:42 PM) Ohh, I'm not familiar with root and all. First time using android. Need to do more research. Another thing is charging time. Takes much longer to charge compared to iPhone. Of course it will take longer time to charge. iPhone has 1400 mAh battery while one has 2300 mAh battery. Unless you use a higher current charger, (eg. 2A) the charging time will be longer on HTC One. |

QUOTE(adam_x @ May 15 2013, 04:55 PM) Was at maxis yesterday after picked up the phone at senq. Changing to micro SIM (migrating from sII). All the staffs there ushering my phone. They said maxis start promoting HTC one yesterday but stocks will arrive in one week. Surprisingly they didn't knew HTC one at all. Even ask is it android or ios. WTH? Argh stupid Maxis 3 days too late for them. Was planning to get plan from them alone with the phone but in the end I buy directly from SenQ... Most people selling phones have minimal knowledge about latest gadgets lol. They only do business but not really love the gadgets, which is quite sad. |

QUOTE(shdin271 @ May 15 2013, 04:31 PM) guys my phone seems like having heat issue. especially when playing games. is it normal? googled it, people telling it is normal. anyone else here feels like their device kinda hot? Get a battery monitoring app like GSAM Battery from play store. It shows the temp of battery. The highest I got from One is around 43 degree which is quite normal for the smartphones nowadays. But playing in air-conditioned room, the phone releases the heat REAL fast |

QUOTE(Glen Quagmire @ May 15 2013, 11:38 PM) Hey, I rooted my phone and installed a custom recovery. if I want to install the update, i need to install the stock recovery right? Can I just install any stock recovery, or do I have to use a specific one for my build version? Flash stock recovery, relock then flash the official RUU that comes with your phone.
