Haha. The salesman convinced me to extend to 4 years. If anything wrong with the phone (which my phone never last longer than 2 years) SenQ will give me store credits which will be better than selling 2nd hand.
Any stock at SenQ Gurney? I went to SenQ Queensbay just now and asked for One and salesman said available in 2 week's time. TWO!!!
There is only the display unit left. Mine is the last unit which is still sealed. If you don't mind an unboxed unit which they put on display inside the glass case, then there is one left. Unless someone came after me to get it...
Good luck! I just ran out of juice from playing with the camera a lot.
I have been scouting this phone for some time . Still hesitating between HTC one n Samsung S4.
Just wondering you think after 2 years, how much does it cost to replace the battery ?
Don't know about the cost of the battery after 2 years but I bought 4 years warranty which covers anything irreparable and it only cost me RM160. The idea behind this is that if something major happens to your phone after 2-4 years, they most probably don't have the parts. So SenQ will give me store credits for the phone's worth at that time to buy a new phone. It will still be of a higher value compared to selling your old phone after 3-4 years use.
pusing the whole penang looking for transparent hard cover.. at last manage to find it
I got the Melkco soft silicon casing from Senq Gurney Plaza for RM 49 when I picked up my unit. Does yours cover the top and bottom parts of the phone?
How is everyone's battery so far? For me, I've been "butchering" my phone badly since getting it on Sunday.
- 5 email accounts on IMAP/Mail check at 15 minutes interval but connected all the time - Gmail Email Account set to Push - Viber and Whatsapp - 1 hour of Pandora on maximum volume - 1 hour of phone calls - 30 minutes Facebook - 30+ photos taken without flash - Less than 2 hours screen time - Screen brightness set to Auto - Remove tactile feedback vibrations
Overall I only managed 12-14 hours on average. I can see I have some wakelocks from MediaServer but I haven't Root it yet to install BetterBatteryStats to know more. Also, I have installed Nova Prime and removed the Blinkfeed since waste of power and I already have Flipboard.
Any idea what else I can do to save more on battery without changing to a custom ROM?
After running the System Update for the whole day, I noticed apart from the Back and Home key being more responsive, the battery also seem to have improved about 10-15%.
Home2wake is here! can't wait to root my phone! LOL
Can you program the HTC button to do other functions than close? Looks interesting but rooting means risking the warranty, right? I would wait until there's a way to restore root for Warranty Claims
Anybody knows where to get Mophie Juice in Malaysia? Or perhaps china has started making power cases for our HTC One? Even with power saving, I still need more battery. This is coming from Note 2 with custom high capacity battery. Don't really mind the bulk.
