QUOTE(dannygeni @ May 16 2013, 01:50 PM) still wandering what the different..by the way black difficult to find now. One of the different is this.taiwan factory must be slow in production. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2202869 but this one only based on HTC One made in Argentina and Taiwan. Doesn't show any Made in China..was hoping to get the Silver made in taiwan to get more natural white color. Just bought mine yesterday but same as u guys, made in China. |

I dont have problem with built quality although mine is made in china but im wondering if the other hardware is same or different like the screen panel, the camera sensor, the battery etc.. Since different electronics quality give different performance..

I just noticed my htc one got some back light leaking on btm right of the screen. Need to be in dark room and have dark background to notice it. Going to exchange this phone since I just bought it yesterday. I'm quite disappointed.

QUOTE(kingsora @ May 16 2013, 07:14 PM) A bit unlucky for you. Yea, I am one of the unlucky one..sigh..going to lowyat tomorrow for exchange, hopefully they will let me exchange one 2 one instead of repairing the display. It really bugs me watching video with that light leaking.Where you bought the phone? Surely you want to exchange it to new unit right? Hope everything works out well for you. |

QUOTE(K1d0 @ May 16 2013, 07:22 PM) I guess maxis is more to Samsung and blackberry side, their plan for HTC one not nice, dont have surfmore 50 and they dint even bother to put it in their home page and dint even announce in Facebook page. This is probably due to HTC bad reputation for releasing The One just few month after Butterfly. |

QUOTE(kingsora @ May 16 2013, 07:32 PM) QUOTE(kurogane) Hi all HTC One owner. As you may know, I bought one last night but suffer from dead pixels, so just to share my experience a little, maybe can help in future. First off, turns out the Plaza Berjaya HTC service center is closed down already, so if want to send direct to SiS, have to go to their Kelana Jaya office straight. Need to take note the center only open weekdays, 9am to 6pm. I went there during my lunch hour and got my faulty unit exchange 1-to-1 due to dead pixel (classified as DoA). Unfortunately, they don't have any ready stock on hand, so I have to wait three working days for my new unit. Luckily, they offer to send the new unit via courier for free to my house, so no need to go back there again. Overall, was rather pleasant and the lady at the counter was very courteous, so thankfully it was not as bad as I read some forumer comment yesterday in this thread. Now just waiting for my phone to arrive on Monday (hopefully). Will update later Hope this will be of any help to you. QUOTE(lordofvirtue @ May 16 2013, 07:39 PM) If that's the case then they're really into blackberry because Z10 n Q10 were released not too far from each other. Q10 is blackberry with keypad and z10 is fully touchscreen. Maybe some people prefer a keypad instead of touch screen. But for butterfly and the one, its like an upgrade instead of different line of production. This post has been edited by hypnokey: May 16 2013, 07:48 PM |

QUOTE(shdin271 @ May 16 2013, 07:52 PM) Require low lighting condition to see this. Normal light wont notice. This picture taken using dslr on quite low light place with slow shutter. If watch movie in a room with light off will notice it. Going to tomorrow. Hopefully they have stock cause i have no backup phone.. |

QUOTE(burnst3in @ May 16 2013, 07:55 PM) i got a some weird problem here. Maybe the file format is not readable or you need to put in specific folder. Or just restart the phone to refresh the list.i've transfer all the music from my pc to my 'one' using usb. and when i open up the music app, the song does not appear listing. when i locate it manually, through file explorer, the files are there. what exactly is happening? |
