New HTC one silver 32gb user here. Got it from digi times square. Was using LG Nexus 4 before. My feedback :-
It's a great phone, loving it! Side by side with Galaxy S4 it makes the s4 look very cheap and plasticky. I did test out the S4 with its faster clockspeed but in reality it has too much bloatware, making scrolling jerky at times, and when you have white pages, it looks greyish yellow. Only advantage is the 5in screen.
As for Nexus 4, Compared to Nexus 4 every feature is better on the HTC one except that it doesn't come with latest android.
With active usage it last me just enough for a full day of usage. Averaging 13 hours with slightly more than 10% left.

Slightly better than LG service then. I sent my previous nexus 4 due to screen problem (turns yellow when hot) but they didn't have stock also. Waited more than 1 month for repair. 3 days is not too bad but of course on the spot is ideal.

Just wondering is it better to use the power saver function or use one if the softwares like juice defender to extend battery life?

Any idea how to stop the annoying Samsung ad from appearing on my screen every minute on this forum?
Also anyone knows how to prevent saving 20 pictures each time you use the camera?
