You just pop over to hardware zone. com. Sg n read - many of such complaints n I would say is one of major complaints about this phone

Suggest you go n have it replaced as you can do it with HTC before it gets worse

Are you sure about this?
Many sporeans users got it change since is so new
It is frustrating to use if you have such an issue

For those who are annoyed with the 3 dot menu appearing in some of the older apps ( automatically reduucing your display size to only about 4.5 inch) including even Facebook, you can overcome this by applying this mod from Paul of Modaco.
What this mod does is you can now map long press back as menu, removing the black bar.
You need to unlock bootloader and root the phone. Works perfectly well as I did it for my brother phone last week when he sent back to me to claim warranty

Yes. HK lte is 1800,2600 ( same as maxis) n 2300 MHz bands

Once you unlock bootloader through htcdev your phone imei is captured in htc servers. It is pointless to relocked it back as HTC will still know you have unlock it
Warranty valid or not will depend on HTC discretion. You have been warn about this in htcdev site. There are cases that warranty is still honoured if HTC view problem is not due to BL unlock. So depend on your case n luck when you wish to claim warranty
Have to live with this unless you have a S-OFF solution for it which is still unavailable

Cyber jaya is covered. Try going round several places. If your sim is the newer type ( less than a year) LTE auto detected n no need any activation. Have simcard change to those that has LTE enabled if you still cannot detect it. Infact all new sim are already LTE enabled. Just make sure you are given these n not those older simcards

THe HTC ONE by default supports USB OTG out of the box. I have no issues connecting it to my Kingston 64GB thumbdrive and 1 TB Samsung USB Harddrive ( without any additional power input)

I have no idea. Other users do feedback. All my drives including my 1TB drive is in FAT32 format ( for convenience usage and I do not have any files bigger than 4GB)

No. I have no such interest in such stuffs. Even my stacks of DVD I have bought past 10 years more than 80% yet to be even watch - lah !!

It is your right as a consumer to check it before you take it home. Exchanging it after you take it back might be more hassle. It is better to request a new unit on spot exchange. Again this depends on the telco stock availability and their service standards available

Problem with U Mobile is no LTE if you are in LTE areas and only satisfactory coverage in areas where they do not have coverage. Their piggyback on Maxis is far from good. Their download speeds is excellent ( way better than Maxis, Celcom) in areas where there is coverage

Bear with it and hope is not hardware issue. Apparently software update will improve it. Even S'porean users are complaining about this n they have not receive any software update yet ( they got theirs a month earlier).
