BTW, those famous temples are located in the west, so it suppose to be sunset not sunrise  biggrin.gif BTW, sunset pretty early in Bali ~5:45pm -6PM.
If I'm not mistaken, those crazy illegal temple toll guy will ask for USD30/pax & up to u to negotiate downward!..They will even show u the log book that Japanese & european paying about USD30/pax!  mad.gif ...I ask for ~RM20 but they disagree, so once I walk off, they re-negotiate and agreed... mad.gif Still feel the RM20 is so expensive visiting temple!!  vmad.gif

taste like Teh-O mar...not bad actually. talking about temple in the west, i think those monkeys in uluwatu are train to steal stuff from tourist.

stimix.. the last time i went can't find. got cheated by famous wayan say there no more stalls. anyway, going again this time going to drive myself. was just thinking..bro, got the POI ar?..

1. July onwards is peak season, alot of japs and quai lou will be there

2. 5d4n good enough including spa. the last trip i went was 5d4n as well, stayed 2 nites at ubud, and 2 nites in jimbaran. and manage to cover most of the places except besakhi temple

3. i would suggest ubud first, then oni kuta. IMHO, since u gonna shop guess is better u shop on the last day coz u dun wan to carry the heavy stuff along with u everywhere.

4. if they changed their price, just get other driver. You can easily find them, no worries. Unless if you are adventurous then you can drive ya self like what stimix did.

5. tegal sari, one of the best reviewed in tripadvisor. not easy to get rooms, you may need to book like 3 to 4 months ahead

Day 2 is way too pack.......skip besakhi temple( i way too far )..tanah lot should be on this day...you can actually covert kintamani, tegalalang, bedugul, tanah lot.

Day 3 . early morning, uluwatu, nusa dua and so on (south bali)..

The rate ok, is is not much different if you don't change alot.

As for Wayan, make sure he is the one that drives u around. The last i booked, he sub it out to another person to drive me around. when u reach and propose your plan, usually he will counter propose your plan and he may request more $$ later if you were send back to ya hotel late at night.

airport..you need to be there 1 hours before flight time

- Tegalalang ( see padi on hill side )
- Taman Ayun (IMHO can skip this, there is nothing much to see here)
- Budugul ( Floating Temple )
- Tanah Lot
- Check in Kuta

Day 3
- Nusa Dua
- Uluwatu
- GWK
- Jimbaran Dinner

Day 4
- Check out
- Go Airport

the last time i went in i never pay any guide, just don't go close to the monkeys if you wear spectacles. and try not to bring items that the monkey can snatch, such as hats. The monkeys there is oredi used to snatch item from tourist with the exchange for food. If u dun wan guide, buy some food to trade with the monkey icon_rolleyes.gif
