QUOTE(diaBoliQu3 @ May 30 2013, 09:15 PM) Now confused between Majestouch 2 or Majestouch Ninja. I'm interested with Ninja but afraid later hard to see the key caps if typing. Well, not a pro typer. Definitely go for the Majestouch Ninja if you don't plan to get custom keycaps.Be assured that it is easy enough to see the keys on the Ninja and you won't wear the letters off like the normal Top Printed Majestouch 2. |

QUOTE(chinti @ May 31 2013, 12:15 PM) That you have to test them out since I have never used (or even seen) a Ducky Zero. The only thing that I can tell you is that, a Filco Majestouch feels better than the CM Rapid Quickfire Pro. But that being said, the CM is still a pretty good keyboard. |

QUOTE(diaBoliQu3 @ May 31 2013, 06:45 PM) I guess it's been my destiny with full sized keyboard. Haha... Well, I can go for Ducky Shine 2 TKL but why pay extra for "trusted" brand. Last time bought Ducky because I want the backlight. But after few times, I just realize that I spent more for what I want, not what I need. And I hope gonna have good experience with Filco. Not like Ducky. Well I would say that you will not be disappointed with Filco's quality. The products are just top notch.BTW, the reason why I didn't order from Ipmart. http://www.ipmart.com.my/main/search.php?in=0&find=filco I went for bling with Multimedia keys once, but I find that I can live without those, and much prefer a good, solid, no nonsense keyboard like the Filco Majestouch 2. |

QUOTE(markypcs @ Jun 1 2013, 09:43 PM) Is Filco really that great in terms of quality? I too am looking for a solid keyboard, not too concerned with media keys and backlit. Yes - since you do not care about media keys and backlit (actually the Filco Majestouch Camouflage has media keys), it feels better than the CM keyboards as well as the Ducky Shines. How much is the Majestouch 2 going for in Malaysia? It's $129 excluding shipping in Australia. QUOTE(markypcs @ Jun 2 2013, 09:29 AM) How does the Ducky DK9008 Shine II compare to QFR TK and Filco Majestouch 2? Filco will win in terms of build quality. I have compared the Majestouch 2 to the first Ducky Shine and CM Rapidfire Pro and none can match the Filco in terms of build quality. In terms of build quality and value. Depends on how you look at value, some value multimedia keys/led backlit keys more than build quality. You have to decide for yourself. QUOTE(kaiserreich @ Jun 2 2013, 10:43 PM) No I don't understand literally. God I hate idiots like that. Those LEDs are seriously annoying and makes me rage.Anyway, that LED mod is distracting as well. Serve no usage other than to show off to your friends. I don't want the whole keyboard blinking when I am typing. That's the same as those idiots with extra bright LED 3rd brake light stepping on their brakes during traffic jams and you are sitting behind the light keep blinking on your face even though you are looking away. Can cause epilepsy |

Hmmm. I have been trying to search for keycaps for modifiers for my Filco. So far I see only for Cherry style. Anyone kind enough to point me in the direction of Costar stabilizer keycaps?

QUOTE(0168257061 @ Jun 5 2013, 09:58 AM) It is not cherry style. So what I need to do is this?It is cherry profile I suppose you are seeing Cherry profile generally shorter than OEM height. There is nothing to do with stablizer type. Both costar and cherry stab can fit standard caps http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=playe...d&v=b8wYeGa6HEI Remove the "insert" and then place it into the new keycaps? |

Love the macro keys around the WASD cluster.http://www.engadget.com/gallery/asus-rog-a...yboard/5932627/ Looks similar to RAZER BWU, with more keys... QUOTE(0168257061 @ Jun 5 2013, 12:59 PM) Wait, what keyboard you using? Using Filco Majestouch 2 Blue and keycaps are the Vortex Stealth dye sub from kaiserreich.Just changing caps only very easy. If costar, you just insert the insert to new caps and then mount back to your kb I wonder if anyone is selling the inserts here in LYN. It would be useful to have more so that I don't have to pull out the inserts everytime I change keycaps... |

QUOTE(kyrmian @ Jun 5 2013, 02:00 PM) Yes. That's basically what I am saying QUOTE(kaiserreich @ Jun 5 2013, 02:01 PM) Because you never tried how a modded cherry stabilizer feel like. There are no squeaks on my modifiers at the moment. The cherry stabilizers that I have tried before are bad (obviously without mods). No squeak, feels like any switch, and easy key removal. QUOTE(0168257061 @ Jun 5 2013, 02:03 PM) It is to me. Tried Ducky Shine 1 and promised myself that I will steer clear of Ducky products for the time being. But to each his own, some people swear that this is good while others have their own preference. |
