QUOTE(Human10 @ Jun 8 2013, 03:45 PM) Yar, get the board and switch first, cause nobody gonna stuck with stock keycaps forever even if it is the highest grade keycaps, LOL. Forget about it. To manufacture similar grade as Topre would mean just as expensive. When you see the real thing you will understand. Besides, we can get the same Topre dye sub pbt on the realforce. I already posted pricing somewhere it is a few hundred.BTW, topre PBT caps are expensive due to niche market and the product actually is directly made by realforce themselves instead of 3rd party, thus the high price tag. If there are a huge demands for topre caps, KBC can surely make it and sell it at a more affordable price tag. QUOTE(jepertine90 @ Jun 8 2013, 03:50 PM) Don't fret. If you trust me, dont waste your money anywhere. In about 1-2 months I will offer dye sub pbt cap for cherry with smooth finishing. This is thick dye sub btwQUOTE(BadBadtz-Maru @ Jun 8 2013, 04:37 PM) Heaven does not have 87. 87u back order only. We will not stock it unless dealers dare to commit. For everybody's information, we will price the realforce 104u at rm799. The heaven around 499. The topre cap is very expensive I forgot how much it is but iirc around 400. Our dealers will not stock it and we will sell direct. So, think 5 times before you decide to buy a heaven or realforce. |

QUOTE(kaysa @ Jun 8 2013, 06:03 PM) Smooth finishing...? for your Thick PBT Dyesub cherry keycaps?.. But why smooth finishing? 87 and 104 same price. Same case with rosewill and ducky.is that how they like it now days? People tend to like textured surface like sanded or matte surface right? I think most of the traditional keycaps are sanded surface, when it's smoothed, meaning it will be slippery and people tend to replace them.... Do you mean smooth printing method? which mean the ink won't be bumped up like any other printing method right? On the other hand, to my understanding, Realforce 87U is priced higher than the 104U, is that correct? Most people hate the rough texture on pbt cap. Topre and new ducky pbt dye sub are smooth. We will have demo...dont worry...come molest them |

Review on the shine 3? It is virtually the same as the shine 2 but with rgb spacebar and a lot more customization options. If you want to wait for review on the yots you probably wont get a chance to own it.

QUOTE(d-ky @ Jun 9 2013, 08:10 AM) Tentatively Rm 529. You will be paying less than Rm100 difference from the shine 3 for its rarity. 15/500 units. Mind you, the 78 version was 20/399. They were sold out before arriving to MY. Later the units went up to USD 250 each in TW. We are not the one charging more on this board, the cost is higher. |

QUOTE(RaymondMZ @ Jun 9 2013, 11:17 AM) but when i see the video of review with linus tech tips it showed the yots is the standard black version with snake keycaps.. this confused me... Linus is wrong. Period. It is the green version with snake spacebar keycap. The aluminium one is something else altogether. I already know what concept and design the finalized version will be but it is not ready for production. These are collector's edition. |

Don't worry, I'm so concerned of Ducky going MIA with these keycaps for another year...I've ordered enough to make sure it lasts a relatively long time. In addition to that, I am considering only allowing ourselves to sell these keycaps since our dealers are not quite ready to stock keycaps making only peanuts. With us making peanuts + dealers making peanuts = cost too high for the caps to even move.

QUOTE(joonwei23 @ Jun 9 2013, 06:39 PM) I think you mean dealers. Yes, keyboards available through dealers, keycaps available through us. I think that's better after all not many dealers actually stock our Ducky keycaps. Additionally, by the time we mark it up for dealers to consider WORTH STOCKING, the prices are too high to sell... |
