Besides Topre and Ducky, I'm not trusting any other brand unless they have a very nice feedback from legit reviewers. hmm.gif
P/S: LEDs not dead yet.

I don't love my Filco. Love it. Love it!

There are some seriously crappy mech boards our there *cough* Razer *cough* *cough*... but Filco definitely is not one of them. Using the Orbweaver for quite a while now, it's nice, but not as nice as the Filco (same switch, same o-rings). The keys just feel a bit 'off' to me. Still nice for FPS gaming though.

You need some cough syrup.
Got go see doctor?

The difference might be due to the plate?

Do note that there literally aren't PBT backlit keycaps out there.

So in other words, if you go PBT, you can't get backlit keycaps (but powerful LED can still shine through brighter and thinner PBT keycaps though).

This is the effect of LED with brighter color PBT.

No I don't understand literally.

QUOTE
lit·er·al·ly  (ltr--l)
adv.
1. In a literal manner; word for word: translated the Greek passage literally.
2. In a literal or strict sense: Don't take my remarks literally.
3. Usage Problem
a. Really; actually: "There are people in the world who literally do not know how to boil water" (Craig Claiborne).
b. Used as an intensive before a figurative expression.

Anyway, that LED mod is distracting as well.
Serve no usage other than to show off to your friends.

I don't want the whole keyboard blinking when I am typing.
That's the same as those idiots with extra bright LED 3rd brake light stepping on their brakes during traffic jams and you are sitting behind the light keep blinking on your face even though you are looking away.
Can cause epilepsy laugh.gif

This is the FIRST TIME Rosewill asked me to take less than 100 units themselves. Not because of poor sales expectation but because factory cannot cope with production on the aluminium casing...Our RK9000 and RK9200 comes in few hundred units per order brows.gif

Do help identify all the problems. If someone can submit the PCB layout, we can get them to copy almost perfectly. There's little cost having a bunch of holes prepared on the PCB for modding. As long as you are prepared to void the warranty.

Poker 2 is the best 60% board by far that targets mass market. Their factory also has problem delivery the quantity...

Either Costar screw over the Tex designer, or they paid him a ton of money
That Tex logo looks classy btw.

QUOTE(CyntrixTech @ Jun 4 2013, 11:07 PM)
My forecast is that we would complete a sale to end user for a Realforce 87 perhaps once every 6 months. Selling to dealer don't count, we don't want products to be stuck at dealer and cannot be sold. As for TKL, they do move but extremely slow as compared to full size. There is little to no cost difference in losing the extra keys. Some people think it is not worth paying the same for less. There's also the added fear of not being able to adapt to the lesser key layout. Therefore many 87 key-ers tend to have more than 1 boards.

Just like hatchback cars...I love hatchback but a lot of people think that paying for MORE on a hatchback in Malaysia over a sedan with trunk is a bad deal!

Mazda 3 sedan > Mazda 3 hatchback
Mazda 2 sedan > Mazda 2 hatchbatck
Toyota Vios > Toyota Yaris (Yaris was complete fail)

Honestly though, all the hatchback looks nicer.
*
You're right.
Some people feel they pay too much for too little keyboard.

RM800 HHKB? Gila laugh.gif
RM800 for Graphics card, hmm maybe I should top up more for more FPS.

When it comes to keyboards, I guess there are two camps.
First is the camp that wants bang per buck
user posted image

Then the second camp are the ones who value ergonomics/ease of use more.
Most TKL users would probably like a 60% kind of layout.
But then again, I am just pulling numbers from the air

If you guys didn't already know, the Tex Bettle is only Aluminum on the Top shell.
This also means that the Rosewill 60% is also Top Shell Aluminum only.

Bottom is Injection Molded ABS.

Just wonder what it's mean Ultra-responsive mechanical key switches  tongue.gif

before you press the keys, it already predict what you want to press.
Once you move your finger and actuate the switch, the data already reach the PC.

Why would I purposely downgrade the quality of my peripherals just to make switching keycaps easier? tongue.gif

Because you never tried how a modded cherry stabilizer feel like.
No squeak, feels like any switch, and easy key removal.
