The biggest goddamn open art community on the interwebs. (IMO the best design community is www.depthcore.com but they specialise in digital art and are closed to invites for talented members.) dont take this the wrong way anyone but please take deviantart as a design/art community to make yourself learn, blossom and make lots of friends and not a source of plagarism for assignments. No offence but I've met tonnes of people who use the photos there as free stock and copy works there for assignments and thats a damn shame.

I do go to deviantart to look for inspirations for some designs though, but I don't take their pictures directly and use it as my own. At most I'll take their ideas, use them as reference and draw my own.
