Maybe what he meant was not compatible with STL-1. And, if there's anything not compatible is only the radio files as the Z and the Q radio is different. So, if the leak is meant for STL, all you need to do is download the file, then flash the Q's radio file. Otherwise, there will be a good Samaritan who would include the Q's radio file into a 'hybrid' leak OS  thumbup.gif Anyways, the guinea pig here has tested and approved that leaks for STL-2,3,4 can be used for Q10 SQN-3. Haha  rclxm9.gif

btw fablu, do you install the radio or the os file first ?
os file .2354
radio file .2355

update: its quite strange, i installed the .2354 and the radio itself is .2355 without me installing the radio file.

You're supposed to install the OS first, and then a "mirror image" would appear on your screen - incompatible radio file. Then, you're supposed to double click the radio file that you downloaded. Then do a battery pull to flash the file.

Anyways, it looks like you've installed successfully, with a newer radio file!

Another leak .4285 is scheduled this Friday and it will be a FULL OS for Q10! Haha..

Just updated my q10 to .4285 so far i noticed if connect wifi there is no more "attempt 1 of 3" ; network mode back to ori (4G/3G/2G)

the previous build has a good battery life though (.2354) better than (.2342)

hope this build .4285 is give good performance as well.

update: after installed the device does not want to connect to the PC with error saying finish the setup on phone then connect back, restart the phone and still no luck ; so i did a battery pull and it solved.

if you restore your device, your network settings will go back to UMTS/LTE/HSPA

I downloaded .4285 too and encountered same error as yours too. You should've posted this in the morning so i don't need to reload the OS again! rclxub.gif Luckily after reloading, everything ok biggrin.gif

No wonder my network still showing 4GLTE. If you didn't restore, then how and where you back up your contacts?

Thanks for the tip. Just downloaded it.

Hopefully the OS can bring substantial improvement to battery life. All im asking for is at least 12 hours thumbup.gif

i think this build has worse battery life, with .2354 i unplug at 00:00 and till 20:00 i would still have 40% with this build .4285 i unplug at 00:00 and now 9:41 it left 59%

and i could see the signal bar keep decrease and increase from 2 bar to 5 bar and ongoing..

Steady bro... don't forget your first 12-24 hours is used to re-populate your contacts, and your apps.

I unplugged at 0840, now 1142 and I still have 88%! Looking good! I was using it quite heavily between 1000 to 1100 thumbup.gif

Finally got my Q10 after maxis took their own sweet time.
Big difference in feeling vs using 9780 for the last 2 years. Will take some time to adjust..

Yesterday was my 1st full day with the device. Had to charge twice through out the day. Think as fablu mentioned, 1st 24 hours is busy repopulating the data, it was a big juice drinker. Today so far so good.
