Yes the OS takes up half the space. Just like a pc sold with 500gb hard disk n windows takes up space on the same hard disk.

Battery is likely due to bad apps you have. Usually all the chat apps suck battery.

Nobody's tried so far I suppose. However, the Vega 6, which is also a Korean phone, has an 1800MHz model which does work with our local LTE, so I am guessing the Korean S4 should work. At worst you just paid a bit more for a 3G phone....

It;s for digital video broadcasts. I don't know the status of our DVB trials, and I also doubt the frequency is compatible.

And another thing is Korean S4 is using yamaha dac, same brand as the one found in S2 which is poor. Inconclusive, but I feel the hierarchy for DAC is Wolfson (i9500) > Qualcomm (i9505) > Yamaha

ogiveyakuza Well if you see a lot of the posts here, a lot of them are upgrades from the earlier S or Note models. No need for a lot of noob questions. Some are also simply getting as upgrades for GFs or wives laugh.gif you don't mess with THOSE phones.....

Uh, just a remark...it seems the distinguishing of plural and singular is problematic with Malaysian users. Having spent lots of time in other forums (XDA, reddit etc) even other non-Native English speakers do not make this mistake.

Agree. If it doesn't cover the entire bezel, IMHO, it does not deserve to be called a "case", rather just a back cover (with or without flip).
