Wah, an ancient thread revived!!

I'm a big fan of Gintama too!! I like his laidback attitude which is the total opposite of most shonen you'd see. However, that said, this anime is nothing more than just to make you laugh. So really, if anyone expecting some kind of an adventure to fight for freedom n justice, you'd be totally disappointed.

No matter, I still like it for that reason. It's the kind of anime for you to just forget real world for a moment n have a gud time laughing .
