QUOTE(jess7 @ Feb 2 2014, 01:52 PM) WOOTS PEEPS! Love to get some ideas on the kitchen. I visited Kubiq at Viva Homes and honestly it's quite appealing. Still looking into options, if you got any ideas do share! Going to visit Kubiq at their HQ this weekend.gonna get my house keys from lawyer coming tuesday!!! finally, after such a long time waiting for it after reading all 28 pages of this thread, i'm so glad that many residents have moved in and looks like this is going to be a good neighbourhood! so gonna go register the electric and water, first thing! then maybe pay a visit to the management office to get the cards and defects papers sorted. looking for electrician/plumber to help see to the defects/basic lighting. then after defects done, will look into putting up the kitchen i hope we could share some ideas on the kitchen, just looking forward to a great community! |

QUOTE(jess7 @ Feb 15 2014, 01:26 AM) WAHHH, APA JADI?!?!?! Yeaa.. I was looking at kubiq too but seems like there's a lot of complaints. If you found any viable alternatives do let me know. Grills will be installed in 3 weeks time, whole thing with installation about 2.8k. Felt it's kind of cheap as I did my apartment for 2k, not sure if they guy quoted correctly. lucky i left earlier before this happened hahaha i've been running around klang valley looking for lights, furniture and kitchen cabinets.... finally lightings done! looking for kitchen cabinets really a pain, so many to choose from read so many bad comments about this company, kubiq, which i initially thought if using so now back to square one, LOOKING AGAIN! |

QUOTE(joeec @ Apr 6 2014, 10:30 PM) Does anyone have contacts for a reasonably priced person doing grille? For Legian upstairs and downstairs, how much did it cost u? I did mine for around 2.7k including delivery. Mr Mok, 0192233598. Unless you changed your windows, make sure to get him to measure the space for window levers. he made a mistake with mine, had to improvise to open windowsThanks for sharing! |

Is it just me or is there a lot of mosquitoes? I spend the first 2 nights in Legian swatting these blasted insects. Yesterday they did fogging but it doesn't seem to have any effect

QUOTE(hullabaloo_bard @ May 8 2014, 07:22 AM) Guys, those who are stayong in Ken Rimba, how's the flooding issue around here? Is this a major issue? I read in the paper than the selangor gov going to widen the river because of this matter. Shitload of mosquitoes despite frequent fogging. Deplorable road condition. Rempit land. Just yesterday one bike knocked on my car tailgating me through the gate, then quickly speed in. f***ed-up uneducated misfits.I just received loan approval for the condo but now contempelating on this project. Any other good/bad point u guys want to share aboit this area? Yes I did gave the number plates. Security guards are useless in this case, close one eye let these people tailgate others in. See how la the management will act, maybe those bikes mysteriously go missing. This post has been edited by redlyfs: May 9 2014, 05:13 PM |

QUOTE(stevenkkt @ May 14 2014, 12:45 PM) The defect repair team is using the Ken Rimba bicycle to go around the housing area. This has been their practice since beginning. Not only the maintenance crew but their sales and admin personnel. I think it's a very good practice. I think outside the gated area they are not doing anything. please voice out your concern to the management office. Cheers! Let's make this place a better place to live in together. I did inquire regarding the bikes stationed near the guards for residence use but the guard told me many of them are not well maintained as there's not many residents actually using it. If I'm not mistaken, to use it you need to pay around RM100 for a pass. Can't remember how much of it is deposit. This post has been edited by redlyfs: May 15 2014, 02:59 PM |

QUOTE(Vampyr3 @ May 12 2014, 09:17 AM) That is part of the gov's plan and this stretch of road is already well known for it's flood so they have to do something about it.....the only question is when haha When I did my Maxis broadband, they just pulled a cable from the nearby ports, those green little boxes you see beside the housing road. After that they'll pull that cable through the drain, and into the ready phone box. No hacking required. UNLESS you already completely tiled and cemented your porch, then you have to hack it for them to access the pull holeQuick question for owners who already have Unifi installed, do you install with surface wiring or concealed? If concealed, then what is the price like for the hacking/wiring? Reason i'm asking is because my wiring guy said he can help to conceal the unifi wiring path since he's hacking the walls now and if i want, he can hack and put the piping ready for the unifi first. But just curious whether the unifi technician's will go the extra mile to use the piping instead of the easy surface wiring way This post has been edited by redlyfs: May 15 2014, 03:03 PM |

QUOTE(KYspeaks @ May 15 2014, 03:40 PM) I was an existing user. When I request for transfer to Ken, they initially said don't have available port for Maxis. However I made a lot of noise la, complain here complain there, they eventually gave in. After all I don't want to let go my existing plan RM118 for 10Mbps. |

I'll take picture when I get back home tonight, and along the locations where fiber cable is terminated.
QUOTE(Vampyr3 @ May 16 2014, 09:34 AM) Dang, my house is already fully cemented and tiled, now i'm not sure which hole is the pull hole Not on the wall but floor itself. It's located outside at the corner near the sliding doors ( not your wooden door side) . If you can't see it , it's probably tiled over lol.. As I said I'll take pics tonight and let you guys double checkMay i know how does the pull hole looks like? Is it the one on the wall? This post has been edited by redlyfs: May 16 2014, 10:34 AM |
