WOOTS PEEPS!
gonna get my house keys from lawyer coming tuesday!!!
finally, after such a long time waiting for it biggrin.gif rclxm9.gif

after reading all 28 pages of this thread, i'm so glad that many residents have moved in and looks like this is going to be a good neighbourhood!
so gonna go register the electric and water, first thing!
then maybe pay a visit to the management office to get the cards and defects papers sorted.

looking for electrician/plumber to help see to the defects/basic lighting.
then after defects done, will look into putting up the kitchen biggrin.gif

i hope we could share some ideas on the kitchen, just looking forward to a great community! rclxms.gif

Love to get some ideas on the kitchen. I visited Kubiq at Viva Homes and honestly it's quite appealing. Still looking into options, if you got any ideas do share! Going to visit Kubiq at their HQ this weekend.

Yeaa.. I was looking at kubiq too but seems like there's a lot of complaints. If you found any viable alternatives do let me know. Grills will be installed in 3 weeks time, whole thing with installation about 2.8k. Felt it's kind of cheap as I did my apartment for 2k, not sure if they guy quoted correctly.
*
wah! ur grills only 2.8k?!?!?! all windows and main and back door?
murahnyer... sila share contractor hahaha

what kitchen cabinets u looking for?
so far i've narrowed down to solid working top, melamine cabinets. base and single wall cabinets.

You can find plenty of bkt shops at taman intan about 10min away from ken rimba.....they also have good 'mui choi' pao and other types of pao along the same row of shop houses too. If you're up for it, u can drive to taman sri muda for some char siu rice, i think the shop is called spring golden or something

The nearest hawker stall that i can find or at least stumbled upon is at tmn berkeley and eng ann smile.gif Happy food hunting!
*
Hey man! Thanks so much for recommendations!
My bro dying for some daging babi hahaha tongue.gif

i've been observing the guards, they seem to be letting everyone in as long as they receive the driver's license!
then i was thinking, what is the resident access card for then if anyone can come in?
and when i go for walks in the evening, i notice lotsa houses filled with motorcycles and cars, can go up to 10motorcycles a house!
this does not seem right... what you guys think?

How's the workmanship of this development? Security wise, any issues so far? Any action taken after the complain letter about students renting?
*
Workmanship horrendous, need do loads of repairs and touch up when bought unit. Security wise, too relaxed, anybody can waltz in and out as long you put nice smiley face to guards. Student renting issue, im facing only one, wch is my next door, a house load of them 15 if not mistaken, they can be noisy at some times but they are very much obliging to whatever i tell them eg don't park at my space, don't park opposite my space, don't feed my dog... Cos they know if they cause too much trouble for me, i can get them evicted immediately. Other than that, side lane mini garden is well kept.
