TIGER I - You are welcome  thumbup.gif
Dear all tank miniature collectors, anyone of you collect Easy Model ?

http://www.easymodel.net/index.php/Index/P...t/CateId/7.html

1. What are your views and reviews of their models ?

2. Are they "true" to the real tanks and vehicles i.e. dimensions, camouflage, turret numbers, etc.

3. How do Easy Model pieces compare to :

- DRAGON ARMOR (which is very expensive these days)
- HOBBY MASTER Ground Power (which the new models of tanks and vehicles are also very expensive these days)

in terms of detailing, paintwork and accuracy

4. Sales of Easy Model pieces good or bad i.e. collector base there for this brand ?
PS: Flying Mule is selling them too in their store
*
I hope I can help answer the questions. Hope it useful for you.

1. I bought several of them, you can check one of the link below where I post in other thread.
Challenger II (1/72 scale) from EasyModel
https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=71029736
The model they make sure in all plastic with rubber track. Some of the tanks will add metal plate for weight.

2. U can watch the link I gave the photos, depend yourself, that what it really look like.
For me it was great and nice for sure, but may be some of them not tat good.

3. Very very cheap indeed, cuz it juz plastic and China production.
Better don't compare with other brands cuz it juz plastic and package with acceptable box without PVC display box.

4. Depend on the seller, I sure buy them on TaoBao with trusted seller.
So the packaging and model won't damage when sending.
https://shop35927624.world.taobao.com/index...3936.222.fO4kJ8
This is where I buy them.

That all what I can answer. Hope will guided you for buying.

To put it simply, Easy Model is ready made Trumpeter kits, because it is. One have to find on the review on particular kit since some Trumpeter's offering are good, and some are so-so. They are true to scale, and if one does side-by-side comparison, Easy Model would be the 3rd, with HM as 2nd and Dragon Armor come in in 1st place.

I would suggest getting the Easy Model tanks from taobao though, cheaper alternative. Easy Model made Sturer Emil, which isn't readily available in 1/72, except from them, or one have to build it oneself via Trumpeter kit.

But this is purely from my observation and opinions. Others do fell free to chip in as well biggrin.gif

Thank you strikermac and Tiger I

Some vehicles and tanks in 1/72 scale are also offered by

- PANZERSTAHL
- WarMaster
- Amercom
- Fabbri
- S-Model
- DeAgostini JSDF

1. I have some WarMaster pieces, the paintwork is very well done. The pieces some would think is from DeAgostini or IXO or Altaya - but it seems to me is not true as the plastic and detailing, mould used are very much better.

http://www.warmaster-models.com/index.php?...mid=108&lang=en

Unfortunately I know of this brand late and many of the "good" pieces had been retired and sold out.

2. For Amercom, some pieces are on par with DeAgostini or better - while some are very poorly done i.e. some parts of the tank/vehicle not painted at all . It has many models DeAgostini does not have like the KV-85, T-26 twin turrets, etc.

3. Fabbri pieces are very heavy, nearly the whole piece is metal - as such the finer details are lacking. The T-35 is the best of this series

4. S-Model entirely plastic (including the tracks) and very light - but very detailed and many models NOT available in other brands like the R35, H38, Panzer 1, 2 etc.

5. DeAgostini JSDF is the best in quality in the list above as is meant for Japan market - extremely detailed

Do feel free to add to my comment....

And here come some DeAgostini JSDF. The model are make in plastic for sure.
And very flat... also Not very recommend for it, but sure better than Amercom.
And it was nearly same or may be lower quality than EasyModel... (for some models)

Panzerstahl does offer their premium range with resin vehicle that is not available elsewhere like the T28, Conqueror, IS-7 and the likes. Their details are somewhat okay for their normal ranges.

Warmaster is a repaint of other brand's diecast tanks, from what I know. Such are Tunguska (Fabbri), BTR-80 (IXO), and many more.

Amercom are the ones with black/grey base, just like or CTC version. Some countries will have different version than what we have, or a different armour altogether.

Fabbri is of Russian brand, so what they offer are more of Russian vehicles and armour, not available elsewhere, such as BMP-1/BMD-1, Nona, Pion, and others. The one thing that irks me is that the roadwheels are connected together with plastic tab .__. The details are somewhat less than other brands too though (or rather soft I'd say).

S-Model is a kit (or ready made, if one fancy that path) that offer some tanks not available by others in this scale (ZTZ-99A is one, if one minus the China diecast version of it in taobao). Being model kit, their details are phenomenal, and if one is skilled, could just get the model kit ver instead of ready made ones since the price is similar, but one could get 2 instead (1+1 kit, with PE included). A great kit, I'd say.

Japanese DeAgostini also offer unique vehicles of JGSDF. Nicely detailed, their offerings are better than CTC though.

Pegasus Hobby, ICM, Gran and Ace Model are some lf manufacturers of model kits that gives us unique vehicles not made by others. Such are E-25, Ural-43203 (Command), Vodnik and BMP-1KSh, respectively.

1/72 have many other manufacturers that offers
plenty of kits of various nations in many versions, but for ready made/diecast, my vote would always be for Dragon Armor as the number 1 in quality.

Again, these are of my observation, and to my knowledge, however limited in 1/72 scale.

These are some of my 1/72 tanks and armoured vehicles (of modern Russia though). On related note, Blitz 72 Tiger I also a repaint of our very first CTC Tiger I, and are aimed for Germany's market. IDK as long as I could get the indomitable Tiger I 131 tongue.gif

The Eaglemoss version quality is not as good as the one from local CTC though the scheme is the same. If given a choice I would go for the CTC copy.

That is correct. If one would fancy getting the diecast version, do get our local ones, as well as Warmaster's offering. These two uses the same mold, and very similar to what model kit has to offer, at least to Revell's interpretation of T-80BV.

Pictured is Revell with Warmaster.
