Hi Bro YAB.... notworthy.gif

Yr response clearly showed yr understanding of possible variables that contribute 2poorer FCs.
Good/poor FC is a very subjective value...varies fr individual 2individual...
So let's not go down that long road...

As long as one is happy with watever value one's getting, enjoy yr ride!  cheers.gif

NB. This FC thingey has been dealt with in most forums & esp so in this one way way way back. ..
Main reason why FC discussion was once "banned" by a fellow TS....

Sir,

You've got my idea wrong. Ayam saying, I WILL GO THE EXTRA MILE, such as changing narrower rims/low rolling resistance tyres for the extra mileage. I also understand that getting the SSR lightweight rim will do very little to FC in view of the 15inches profile, meaning more rolling resistance. To me, those kind of lightweight rims are meant for performance rather than fuel save. If I ever had a chance, I'll want full set of Plotong Shawie 14" rim kompang icon_idea.gif I've discussed this with lhwj before regarding the rim kompang design.

a lot of factors... I suspect mine is caused by bad piston ring.

the only remedy now to make it not to get worst is to use better engine oil.

My brother restored his compression after some 1/2 year running on these stuff
user posted image

I was skeptical, but I thought wadahell, since gonna send my old 1.5S for overhaul, might as well give it a shot for the small investment. Again, surprisingly my then SAGA was healed and no more white smoke. Compression restored. whistling.gif

Anyway, we believe in that myth for quite sometimes, until later only we learnt that lossing compression/emit white smoke could also caused by carbon built up on valves. By having wider band of ignition spark would sometimes helps in cracking the carbon and restore the tightness of valve seals, hence compression restored rolleyes.gif

I know you already have faiyastomp, why not give the plug a try. More grounding point of the sparkplug does not mean it has bigger spark, but it cover wider range of ignition area. I believe this can truly benefited by faiyastomp thumbup.gif

then they claim this straight ,

Since you're wondering, so here's a video for you. I purposely drag my daughter to conduct this experiment for you, at the same time I can educate her smile.gif

Can you see the difference? With and without swirl. However, those bits that use to twist the air flow were meant for noise absorbency, therefore at the same time you're getting a better noise reduction(which is not exactly what you want doh.gif ). If you want loud noise, just remove the centre bullet, go and twist a pipe and weld it on laugh.gif Last but not least, the rear tip weld a trumpet tip your exhaust sound will be amplified together with the swirl flow, next time before you reach roadblock the fuzz ady waiting to collect ady flex.gif
