no matter how i look at it, it seems like u causes it.
anyway, my 2 days old continental cc5 come along with the new elantra also burst on 2nd day. all i did was cornering at 60km/h, masuk medium sized potholes, and wa lah, both left side tyre front and rear pecah whistling.gif

exact same damage like yours, only that mine was cut open on the outside
*
good for you as both of yours GG.

my 2 years old asy f1 at the front escaped unscathed. well, maybe i was driving to slow at that time as only one tire was affected.

Not recommended as too many same case happened on Neuton. Nexen N8000 is okay but not the lower range.

there are cases of nexen blowing out clean as well and there are few posts/threads complaining about it.

i got myself a new pair of neuton 225/45/17 tire to replace my old rear tires on friday.

last night, this happen:

user posted image

it kinda broke my heart (new tire plus my body ache, original jack broken because i placed it on soft ground). so i just need to know. what could be the reason eh?

*where did technical talk subforum go?
*
for me it looks like the tire no pressure ald then u drive for a distance
so there is a mark at the sidewall there

normally tire warranty doesnt cover sidewall damage , so pls dont go argue with the tire shop
they r seller and installer , if come to claim u need to sent back to supplier place!
u can ask tire shop guy sent to claim and wait the report

but tire is wear n tear item , normally b4 tire busted tire will bulg first ,unless the impact /sharp object kena ur tire

Yes. I have replied on those tread too. that is why I only suggest the N8000 as my personal experience on with it had been encouraging in term of reliability and price. Trashed many units of N8000 and it survived. I will stay away from the Nexen CP series which it shared with Roadstone though.
As for the Neuton, friends blow a couple of NT8000 on the run with severe damage on the rim sweat.gif . My only set of NT5000 had the sidewall wear out while the tread is still 80%. And I don't even use it for the touge.
Its still a mystery how the outside sidewall wear out on (-) setting with 34psi and very healthy fender clearance laugh.gif

Sifu has answered whistling.gif .
To clarify the theory, the whole tyre need to be inspected for many tiny horizontal or vertical lines formed in the process.
Ya, no point arguing, just ask the tyre shop to return the damaged tyres to main supplier for post mortem. Hopefully, able to claim warranty.
Eh, thank you for the good service. I always come to your shop discreetly. So far, one of the best around thumbup.gif

i didn't mean to offend anyone.

i am sure that if it is punctured, i would feel the slight wobbly but no. it just wobbled and i immediately emergency parked my car.

yes, i was a bit upset that night & the following morning but come to realized that seller has nothing to do with this. i have accepted that it is an expensive lesson to be learned. i have punctured my asy f1 a couple of times and none of the incident shred it useless.

i can only say that this is the last time i'm going with cheap tires.

Will you consider to use higher profile tire with smaller rim? It might degrade handling and it does not look nice, but i think it helps for cushioning pot-holes.

Cheap tyre for spirited driving is a definite no. Add 50 more on top of the cheap indonesia or china made tyre to satisfy your enthusiasm and safety precaution together.

Wow... Not sure what to say

So far mine , 4 pcs seems fine. Front 2 pcs clocked @ 4k mileage in 2 months , thread all byebye already.

Did you check your tyre pressure after installed?

planning to change ATR Sport but the shop got no stock, Nexen also no stock. So ordered 2 pcs NT8000 and try again, this time with correct camber and alignment

TS, 2 pages of replies but problem not solved, you should have seek for alternative solution already.

best if you complain directly to the the neuton dealer/distributor, dont be afraid of hassle, its your hard earned cash.
deal with them and let us know the outcome.

4,000 km all threads worn off is totally NOT ok unless yours are talking about semi-slick or slick.
neuton really that bad?

opss...

For the record :

3 laps in Elite Highway go-kart track
5-6 Time ulu yam half hill up and down
2 time Ulu Yam all the way till Genting

Most of time hard cornering on normal road

I guess above statement , you will know how fast it worn out. I guess normal driving shouldnt be an issue.

MY friend on PErsona , 10k mileage still nice thread.
