I think one of the reason surface RT 'flop' in sells is because many people doesn't consider it as a laptop replacement since it can't run normal x86 programs

oh why can't microsoft just release something like windows 8 lite instead of this RT?

many linux distros has a 'cd version' which can run totally on cd.. and if you need extras, need to install it on hard disk and add the extras later.. but everything will work fine...

practically i don't think microsoft cares. what microsoft really cares right now is how to get rid of all those unsold surface
