Hi folks, just bought a Surface Pro for my wife, however I couldn't find any black Type Cover 2 for it. Where else can I get one besides Harvey Norman??

Dang, in Digital Mall now and there's no stock for any Surface Pro screen protectors. Where else can I get these? MidValley only?

Seriously i dont believe in screen protectors....i took mine off my note 2 and realised the ori screen is so much smoother.

I know what you mean, no SP is still the best. I'm gonna use it a lot for drawing, so I'm a bit paranoid. Also, resale value I suppose.

Why would you sell? No freaking way you could buy something like this cheap in future

Perhaps for Surface Pro 2. Just a thought.

Anyway, Thundermatch store in MidValley is selling the screen protectors for RM70-RM80, to those who are interested la. Too bad I didn't get the Surface Pro at Thundermatch. They had a PWP deal in March that slashed RM90 on the Type Cover 2. Rugiiii.

that was the main reason why i didnt get it, when i ask if there's anything bundled with the purchase, the sales person said nope, dont have...
some more can say other shops also not bundling anything with the purchase of Surface Pro...

if they price 1.9k for the 128GB, even without bundling anything, i might consider...

BTW, thanks for the info, seems like i wont be going to LYP to check out the roadshow since they dont have Surface Pro...
*
Last Saturday, Thundermatch Midvalley said they still have stock for SP128GB there. You should try asking them if you're still interested in getting one.

thanks for the info... smile.gif
i have just called Thundermatch MV and they say the price is at RM1889 for the 128GB Surface Pro...
no bundle though...
when i asked if i can get the type cover at a cheaper price when buying along with the Surface Pro (like PWP), the person ask me to go MV LG level where he said MS is doing a roadshow or something, got other vendor as well...
i might just drop by to have a look...
*
No probs, good that they have stock though. They had a PWP offer, but sadly that was for March only.

Good luck with your hunt!

lol, seems like I don't have much luck in getting surface pro, in mid valley now, and apparently is sold out...ask them when stock coming in, they said no idea...

honestly I don't if they are holding stock back for the weekend, but oh well...

That's weird, thought they said they had.

NatalieRath, I'm using it for drawing mostly. With Manga Studio 5 and a Wacom Bamboo Feel stylus.

bem69 Do you upload any artworks you do on your Microsoft Surface Pro?

I mean.. I just.. having trouble. Because I heard a lot of reviews on pros and cons of Surface Pro.

Btw Are you using 1 or 2?
*
Surface Pro 1. I just got it recently though, so I don't upload much. I like it because of the wacom digitizer. Very smooth inking. What are you comparing the Surface Pro with? Are you getting one or own one?

I want to get a Surface Pro 2.... How much of battery do you get if you spend the whole battery drawing?
*
Yeah get a Surface Pro 2 and you get more time to draw (more or less, 1-2 hrs more I think). On battery? 3-4 hrs, depends if I conserve energy. Usually I draw using the power adaptor since I wanna go high performance mode. For portable drawing, I guess iPad wins.

Because I heard the Surface Pro 2 you get to draw for like 6 to 7 hours.

Yeah its best if you wait for that. I bought the Surface Pro as its under 2k for a full fledged ultrabook smile.gif
