I was just wondering. What governs the ability for a PC to process (or load) a 36MP RAW photo? Will it definitely be laggy? 

Even my maxed out M14x R1 has problems (lags occasionally) processing the 36MP photos from the D800, RAW ones, of course 
Its still sluggish especially with alot of editing, and using SSD didn't help 

Oh I see haha, time for a new and super powerful rig 
I can provide you with one if you want haha, but how to send? Its ~75MB in size

Is the AMD HD 7870 optimized for your editing work? Or just using it for games?

16GB can only be mSATA SSD

spend more on mobo doesn't mean you can buy cheap gc, even cheap mobo can pair with nvidia titan

cheap ATX mobo also come with 4 slot which is enough to the maximum level already, imagine 4 x 8GB DDR3 RAM

expensive mobo is literally useless for normal use and doesn't affect performance unless you OC it then different story la

if you say last long then i would say it is wrong, reliability yes, but with the processor changing to new socket every year i doubt your mobo will last long if you were to change it every generation

bluetooth and wifi is a plus, but i hardly use bluetooth as well

Still smooth after you have put in a lot of Spot Removal? It tends to get really laggy in group shots which requires alot of pimple healing for me 

Awaiting for the MBP Haswell to arrive... at the moment my notebooks aren't powerful enough But I was thinking if my desktop with i7-3770 also not that smooth... I wonder how would the MBP perform :S

it is good for carrying around and their screen is awesome!!!

but for semi-gamer like me i still prefer desktop + windows with a 30" LCD TV

i'm using my 4 years old Sager NP8662 running 24/7 and still working fine

but nowadays i'm not that much on laptop after graduate from college, so better get a desktop and huge ass screen, watch pron also more syok
