QUOTE(gnome @ Jul 15 2013, 02:19 PM) <--- still using D90 for werk Can you get more info from your friend? Where he did the conversion and price. I'm interested Anyways my friend did his D70s to IR and iirc it was like RM400+ i think. There are risk of losing the camera though if you want to convert it to IR |

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Jul 15 2013, 04:21 PM) I'm not sure whether I should still keep the 50mm F1.8G since I already have the 24-70 Upgraded? What camera r u using right now? The IQ and few F-stops doesn't really make too much of a difference most of the time But I really like the lightness of the 50mm haha |

QUOTE(Pro3363 @ Jul 15 2013, 06:32 PM) Yeah, come to think of it having a small crop sensor DSLR, or perhaps a m43 will be nice in Malaysia.. at least doesn't attract too much attention and get robbed I really miss the time doing street photography in Singapore, Hong Kong and Bali... just shoot, noneed to worry about this and that |

Fellow sifus, I need some help
I have a SB700. I was wondering whether there's any way to fire the flash if I am using a compact camera (different brand) with a built-in flash? There should be a pre-flash trigger thing right? I was wondering whether sifus can give some info on how to use it? Thanks in advance |

QUOTE(Pro3363 @ Jul 15 2013, 02:57 PM) I prefer to buy those 1.8.... Now broke after purchase D600... QUOTE(Pro3363 @ Jul 15 2013, 02:58 PM) I think u can sell 3200 d..get a lens from there. Cz d600 nt heavy one.so no use keeping 3200..QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Jul 15 2013, 04:21 PM) I'm not sure whether I should still keep the 50mm F1.8G since I already have the 24-70 50mm 1.8 not just a few stops from 2.8 leh. Quite a lot difference u can save a lot of iso. N bokeh can't fight with it too..The IQ and few F-stops doesn't really make too much of a difference most of the time But I really like the lightness of the 50mm haha |

Thanks for the input sifu 50mm 1.8 not just a few stops from 2.8 leh. Quite a lot difference u can save a lot of iso. N bokeh can't fight with it too.. I never really find the need to lower ISO with flash haha.. at least not at the moment... and I kind of prefer the bokeh of the 24-70 at 70mm F2.8 The one reason I am not willing to let go of my trusted 50mm is its light weight |
