QUOTE
Nikon does not want to release the D400 until Canon is ready with its 7D Mark II, the only true competitor to Nikon’s sports and wildlife line. The current Canon 7D is also 4 years old now and it only received a major firmware update since its release date. The D400 announcement will be similar to what happened to the D600, when Canon simultaneously released the 6D at the same time – there will definitely be a Canon 7D Mark II announcement around the same time.

My source tells me that the approximate date for the announcement has been pushed to September of 2013, with a possibility of a 2014 Q1 announcement (if things do not go as planned, or if Canon 7D MK II is pushed to 2014).
as expected, but doh.gif

any idea how to identify my lens sharpness?

i feel tht my D3200 18-50mm kit lens not sharp enough...
or should i say NOT sharp at all... very blur for 100% zoom
*
when u say 100% zoom...is that on PC LCD or camera LCD?
if on PC then listen to the rest.
if on LCD, then max zoom is actually more than 100%.

Any recommended lenses for my Nikon D90 for shooting figures/toys?

Thinking of the Macro 40mm f/2.8 but need to get really close up and potentially blocking out some lighting for my subject.
*
you can always buy a cheap meike or yongnuo LED ring flash for RM100+.
but for under rm1k, i prefer the 40mm over the older tamron SP90 cos better colors...
also can look for the older 60mm AF-D if u want abit more working distance.

laugh.gif , not that much faster compared to my previous E8400 and SSD... but well when generating the SDE damn fast!
16GB of RAM <-- but it doesn't help much sad.gif my LR gets sluggish when it hits about 3GB RAM usage... wonder why it doesn't use more of it... I'm already on 64-bit system.

I'm using 120GB SSD SATA 3, basically my files are saved on HDD, but the cache and catalog are on SSD.

its a windows bug.
one of my games i know also take up about 4.5gb of ram, but windows task manager only shows 3.3gb.

I thought this is 32bit winfow bug. But for 64bit os this is no longer the limitation. Like others say it might be the application itself that not support high memory per process.
*
my win7 is 64bit...and it doesnt show anything more than 4gb usage...usually shows up as around 3.3gb even tho it was already more than 4gb since it was eating into my pagefiles.
