There's sleeve bearing
There's 1 ball which is a ball+sleeve combo
There's 2 ball which is self explanatory

There's also all those blah blah blah maglev lar.... rifle lar, hydro lar...etc....but basically they just mean variation of the theme and different lubricant niah. Hahahaha....

Generally speaking:

Sleeve's quieter but has lower MTBF (means mampus cepat)
Ball's noisier but has higher MTBF

However, each individual fan model has its own sound characteristic...like a 26dba fan could sound noisier than a 32dba fan. Specs just don't describe this so the best way is to hear it first.

edit: Crap grammar to bad grammar

Oh yeah..i agreed. Honestly i also dunno what the hell is meaning by those dba, ball bearing,etc. I only feel the wind blow from the fan and only observed the rpm listed on the fan sticker. <--bad attitude haah sweat.gif

That vantec damn noisy lar....the "feel" part is actually the pressure.

Those would be more useful if there's a restrictive grill...if it's just an open hole or wire grill...those CM's would suffice.

Booest might know...but personally, 120mm fan's below 1000rpm are inaudible so it doesn't matter if the specs says 13dba or 26dba. Only thing to watch out for is those irritating clicking sound.
Hence something like a CM UV @7V is fine. Easier to find summore.

@vervain
the link sniper put in are 80mm fans...i think the deltas that pushes around 220 cfm would be the 12cm TFB series.
