If dividends is announced based on 5%, it is based on par value, not market price. smile.gif
So you have to find out what is par value of the share.

For MBSB (Which I am heavily invested) tongue.gif , example, it's par value is RM 1.00.
Based on Ex-date 14 which is tomorrow, it has 9% and 18% dividends, based on par value it's 27 cents less 25% income tax.
