Was the ban not fair? In your humble opinion? And why?

Why? As Danny Murphy said it perfectly, the ban affects everyone connected to Liverpool not just Suarez himself. The fans and the club suffer because of his mistake.

This should NOT be the case. The player should be punished not the club and the fans.

He should have been fined heavily and banned a few matches. That would make sense because the season ticket buyer wont suffer.

It does because he's a Liverpool player. He is being punished.

And what do you mean by the club and the fans being punished? I thought only Suarez is being punished?

In my opinion, with the history that he has, Liverpool should've known better and know how to deal with him.

I'll take an example, Cantona was banned for months over his Crystal Palace incident while Rio shared the same fate when he failed to take the drug test. They made the mistake and they went through it. Suarez should do so. And it was not even a professional foul.

Cantona Kungfu kick and Rio's drug test is far more severe cases than a small love bite isnt it? And it's not even related to this issue. We can argue all day on the Jermain Defoe's bite issue. The question here is inconsistency and why should the club suffer just because they cant decide which numbers and they simply pluck from heaven?

Club and fans suffering is very obvious right? Need to draw the picture so clearly? Club paid the player weekly wages even if he is being suspended. Season ticket holders save every penny to watch Suarez and now they get 10 games without him.

By the way, it seems that you are here to argue for fun. I had faced many people like you in my life. You are one problem I do not need because sense wont go into your mind.

End~

What the heck?

I am discussing with you maturely. You are the one that easily ticked off.

Well, I dont know about Defoe's bite issue, care to enlighten when and where?

In Suarez's case, it is found that he is guilty. Like I said, it was not a professional foul. And I didn't even go to his attempt on hand of god.

One of your colleagues did mentioned that it is no surprise that he is banned for 10 matches due to his previous 'saga'.

On Cantona, I am not saying that he was not guilty and I agree it was far much serious than Suarez's.

On Rio, he only didnt attend for a mere drug test and banned for months. On this one, I would say that Suarez's case is far much worse.

On paying wages and bla bla bla, that is something the club has to live with. If you wanted fair, go ask Suarez. Not the commissioning body that punishes him. I don't understand why you blame FA instead of Suarez himself.

To be fair, I have met a lot of people like you also. whistling.gif
