QUOTE(dillonyong @ Apr 24 2013, 11:14 AM) Suarez in exchange for Gomez and Robben. Good deal. Straight swap and no cash involvement. You've got a wild imagination bro THen we shall see this: Coutinho - Gomez - Robben ------------Sturridge------------- ---------Gerrard---Lucas-------- Enrique--Agger-Micah Richards-Johnson Now that is what I call "All action full frontal" LOL |

I hope the club makes an appeal to get the ban reduced to 5/6 games. Let's hope that what BR and Carra has said about the ban would be reflected by Suarez staying with LFC for next season. LFC can't lose another world class player. It will start the rebuilding again somewhat.

I just hope BR doesn't sign Ashley Williams with that kinda money. I'm sure they are some hidden gems for 10M that can be found elsewhere. Would like to see Kelly given a chance to start in the centre of defence next season. See what he's made of when playing in the middle.

QUOTE(solstice818 @ May 13 2013, 12:08 AM) Stats count for nothing at the end of the day. Spot on. Too inconsistent this season. On some days we look like world beaters, on other days we look like a regular mid-table team. If we could play as consistent as we were right now from the beginning of the season, we could have gone in the top 4. Consistency is the key. We need more quality. Coutinho is one, Sturridge is one. We need few more On a positive note, at least Sturridge and Coutinho have prove their worth so far. Hope this continues into 2013-14. |

QUOTE(Everdying @ May 13 2013, 11:21 AM) we are consistent...in draws. LOL me too. Way too many draws this season. It's pretty clear the defence has got to improve. 43 goals conceded = a lot of dropped points. Difficult to make the defence watertight like it was during RB years. But anyway, perhaps the game has changed somewhat too in the league. Don't see teams conceding less than 30 goals a season anymore.i dont recall LFC ever drawing so many games in the last 10 years. the 2007-08 season is equal, but that season we also did much better in wins etc and only lost 4 games total. QUOTE(jacckl @ May 15 2013, 12:25 PM) what if the other way around, wigan fail to promote back to premier league? bolton, blackburn and wolves were 2011/2012 bpl teams but none of them were even in playoff. championship is much harder than you think in recent seasons. That's right. Championship division is not a walk in the park. Nobody can guarantee a top 6 finish for Wigan next season. Just look what happened to Bolton, Blackburn and Wolves as you said. They're lucky they're not in a dire situation financially or else they would have been like Leeds - down for so long and nowhere near to BPL promotion.by all means i'm not belittling their fa cup wins, winning against m.city convincingly is very impressive for a club like wigan. but it did get you think what will happen if wigan never had this distraction. |

QUOTE(Chris Lam @ May 23 2013, 06:02 PM) Hi Every1... Never seen Aspa play before so I can't comment on him. Not really looking forward to signing him. A bit of an unknown. But who knows he might just be another Coutinho.Chris new here. Found a slot here when our Liverpool voices can be hear... Transfer Out - Carroll pending to move to West Ham after both club agree @ 15mil (I don't want him to go..But since he's injury proned & not in Br plan so wiser selling him) Transfer In @ Iago Aspa - We r reported close bringing in Spanish striker Iago Aspas (Celta) for 7mil & 45k per week. Who is He? - Score 11 goals and setting up six more in the Relegation Team. - 5ft 9in tall Aspas can play off the front-line or in a wider position, and would slot neatly into Brendan Rodgers' mobile attacking trio. Transfer In @ Kyriakos Papadopoulos - Our No.1 replacement for Our No.23 - Close source said we submitted a 12mil bid - But Schalke want 19mil - Hopeful compromise in the region of 13.5-14mil can b meet as Chelsea & City is looking at him now.. - He's 21y & Greece CB. Interest Ended @ Ashley William - We r willing to bid no more than 8mil - But swansea want at least 12mil - He's 28...So Goodbye "Thank God" Note : We might bring back Torres if a fee of 15mil can b reached Cheers...Will update again. Chris L. Papadopoulos should be OK at 12M. A little pricey me thinks. And if Schalke doesn't budge, I think it's best to let it go. I'm sure there are players of the same talent to replace Carra at that price, or even less. Williams - never wanted him. Definitely wouldn't be best of friends of Suarez. Torres - no thank you. His hot spells comes and goes in a blink of an eye. Never seen him play with much passion or desire anymore (not often anyway) since he went to Chelsea. QUOTE(coolmast3r @ May 27 2013, 05:43 PM) He never really stood out when he had the chance in the domestic cup games. Hardly made Agger/Skrtel/Carra sweat for their places before Coates arrived. Says a lot. Doesn't matter if he's only 21 now. I fear the same fate would come to Coates. He has to step up next season (if he stays, that is). No excuses. QUOTE(carloz28 @ May 28 2013, 11:31 AM) I'd rather gamble with his roller coaster form than having some mediocre goalkeepers in our team. If he's good to play for Barca, he's still good for Liverpool Same here. I'd rather keep Reina too. Although his past 2 seasons weren't his best, I believe he's still one of the best GKs in the league. Who knows Begovic might just be a one-season wonder.. |

Why is everyone here so eager on transfer news? Transfer window ends on 31st August. Even La Liga has 1 more game to go. Plenty of time to see what kind of deals emerge.
As for Suarez, if he leaves, it will be hard to take. But yeah, the way the English media portrays him, he surely has to be upset and frustrated. And after finishing in 7th, not surprised if he wants to leave to achieve his ambitions elsewhere. |

Remember, a strong team sheet will not count for anything if they don't produce the goods on the pitch. Changing the team too much will require some time for them to gel together as a team. If BR's shopping done by end of June before pre-season starts then it's OK. If not, then look forward to a slow start especially if Suarez is sold and Sturridge really is out for 4 months.
